you are doing something off then. I guarantee you, if you are having it that low, you are missing out one cast every 5-7 seconds which is A LOT. the only way youre not missing casts is if you are pressing a button 30 times in 1 second (which is 30ms per button click). Feel free to link a log and I can prove the argument

@@invfamouzz731 when your spell queue is higher, and youre spamming ur keys, if you spam for too long and then try to swap, it can feel unresponsive and it feels like lag. The issue is, if you are spamming for too long, and then swap to a different key, the game lets you change the spell that is queued up if you swap early enough. Any time you cast the wrong spell, then that means if your spell queue was lower, youd be AFK in that time instead.

@@invfamouzz731 practically speaking, 400 is not worse than anything else, but if it feels bad, you can lower it to anything ABOVE 200 + ms. But do note that the "feeling" is just placebo, and lowering it increases r isk of afk time, but it should be very minimal/non existent as long as youre 200+MS atleast (try to round up as well in general)

If you are still having trouble potentially or experience some gaps try going higher, but im glad to hear youve found some success. Higher is always better if you can tolerate it, but for some it feels bad even though practically its the same/more safe

for frost, 10.2 still is good =)

yes you can change it from blizzard options iwth no addons and its not anti-ToS lol and reporting videos on youtube has nothing to do with blizzard

some of it is yea some of it not. Flamestrike was the meta back in 10.1.5 and in s4 it will be between ignite and flamestrike, the talent setups might be different too but the general idea behind thinking about Phoenix Flames and IB and SKB remains the same

the season 4 tier set feels incredibly nice, but it also makes the rotation significantly more complex. If you want a fun but challenging spec then thats fire for sure. Its basically 100% crit rate if you play properly, and instant cast galore

i go into more detail because the level im trying to teach people to is higher than your average guide. Fire is also just more complicated than most other classes due to time based resource management, and lots of buffs to manage also

hey bud, i saw u comment this on multiple videos. I mentioned at the start that I am not going to cover AoE rotation because I do not really do m+ content. If you are doing m+ you should play the ignite build and just play exactly the same as you do on ST with the addition of using meteor on CD during combust.

u just pick the prio target and do ur single target rotation and ignite will be ur AoE

Not anymore because of how much crit % we get in our gear. Firestarter is still an option but its not generally considered to be the best

the lowest you should have it is 250, but try 400 first especially if you press spells slower

and i am obviously do it in combust; pyro(hardcast) - ib - pyro-pyro works; then i send scorch - ib - pyro - (cant send 2nd pyro due to lack of hot streak its only heating up)

It will be because you aren't queueing the pyroblast properly after the scorch. The pyroblast needs to leave the same millisecond the scorch hits. Hardcast pyro -> IB -> pyro -> pyro works for you still because pyro has travel time so it "doesn't matter" that the instant pyro isn't queued after your hardcast one (this is still a bad thing since if there is a gap between all casts the length of 1 tenth a gcd then you are losing 10% of your potential damage) One reason for this could be you've intentionally or inadvertently lowered your spell queue window. Raise it! And in doing so set it back to the default of 400ms

It has nothing to do with haste or stats. It is either you pressing IB too late in the cast, pressing pyro too slow, or your spell queue is too low. I have a video addressing spell queue so check that if you dont know what that is. Ideally have it at 400 but a lower amount can also be ok as long as you are above a certain mark which is explained in the video.

If youre at 400 stay at 400, the advice to be any lower is for people who are already on too low latency. There is no real gained advantage to lowering other than placebo "feels better". The pinned comment has more info on this :)

do you mean end of SKB cast or actual SKB duration? If you have a part of the vod you are referring to then I can understand better potentially what you are considering

If you wanted to not combust during the SKB cast and finish the SKB first, you would do the entire SKB sequence, then you would precast a spell like fireball or scorch then combust. The issue is that if you have combust ready (or 1s from being ready) and you do an entire SKB, then you are wasting 8s duration (6 + cast time) AND you are wasting kindling CDR from Pyro IB Pyro Pyro, Scorch IB Pyro Pyro, IB Pyro, which is around 10 extra seconds. So youre wasting around 15 seconds of CDR on combustion which is pretty bad. If you didnt have the IBs I had in the video in that time, you would just fireball once or twice to not be AFK, and then go hardcast pyro and combust during the cast. @@rika-chan

No, its not worth to cast PF in double lust at all. Its more damage to just use fireball due to having so much haste which benefits fireball and does not benefit PF past 100% haste
