Sorry to keep asking questions but what are your thoughts on bach’s St John and St Matthew passion? Electronic versions of my favorite parts already exist online but I’m just wondering ur thoughts on those pieces.
I'm absolutely in awe of those pieces. Honestly that stuff is next level. The Saint Matthew's is probably my favorite (or my most respected?) choral piece of all time, but the Saint John's has a certain immediate, raw quality that gets me every time. I'm actually planning on arranging some stuff from them. Some of my favorites which I haven't found electronic arrangements online for are "Sehet, Jesus hat die Hand" from SMP and "Eilt, ihr Angefochtnen Seele" from SJP
I just randomly stumbled over some a couple years ago, couldn't get over how every part was suddenly crisply audible At the time I was like I need to hear all of bach like that and then I eventually figured out how to do it 😅 It was just for my benefit at first but then I was like hey why dont I just chuck it up on yt in case someone else shares my odd tastes
That’s beast. Yea I like the electronic as well cuz for me it articulates the pure beauty of the pitches interacting at the simplest level. Not to say the original isn’t good, I like the original a lot more but this is still very good and offers something unique that I think people like us would love to see more of.
Omg it’s so happy :3
Hahahaha thanks
Gloria in excelsis Deo et in terra pax!
I am incredibly pleased to see this upload
Absolutely brilliant!
thanks!
coincidence having this recommended to me after listening to your recent video Orzo!
This is absolutely beautiful! Keep it up.
Thanks!
¡Hermoso!
Could you do the opening chorus (Kyrie)?
This one is a bucket list item for me, up to now has been too daunting 😂 but for sure will get to it eventually

@@dynis15 True true. I'll keep cranking them out!
Also, would it be possible for you to create the dona nobis pacem? If so I would love to see it.
Thanks man! Yep the dona nobis is up next :)
