I think I’m going back to change some of my plans. I have closets built-in to each of the bedrooms, which is taking up to much room I think maybe having the built-in closets may be the best It seems like my house has got way too large.
my wife is from cebu where about is house your building, i am over in December come over every year sometimes twice we live in Ireland, considering building there but not ready to move yet might get house keeper for now. think we are most likely looking at say 6 million pesos on house after we buy the land. will keep house here for now, did consider Baggio as weather there is bit cooler, thought your view had paddy fields so wondered if you also might be in that area. missed a place that was sold guy went home to texas was to slow off the mark, was nice place as well it sold within one week but he had lot of followers on here, was bargain for 9.5 million i thought.
Thanks for the comment. I really love it here. The heat doesn't bother me for the most part. Manila is north west of Cebu. We are roughly half the distance to Manila north of Cebu.
@@KevinParent248 don't want you obviously to put your address on here what is area called, so i will have idea of what area you reside in then i know how long it would take me to travel there nearest town or city might help. its Trevor by the way the big steve was my email address. in cebu as i said most of December apart from 8 days have trips to japan and Singapore but plenty of time left over.
Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing it with the roof also. I'm thinking I will be around 18,500 php per sqm. All said with the house, rear patio, car port, and gen set/ water building, we will be around 435 sqm.
Hey Kevin. Rob from Canada here house is coming along really good but I'm curious about the block work not quite like what we do here I noticed a lot of the builds the block work is pretty rough is there a reason for that love the videos keep up the good work my wife is from the Philippines another 3 years after I retire my wife and I are planning to do the same we're coming for a month in March my first trip there things are getting way too expensive here in Canada to live in retire so I'm going to come there and see if I can adapt to the lifestyle if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
Hi Rob. What part of Canada are you in? I lived in Michigan roughly 40 minutes from Sarnia, Ontario. As far as the block work, all the block gets skim coating later in the building process. Thanks and welcome.
@@KevinParent248hey Kevin I live in Windsor Ontario I work for Chrysler at the minivan plant it's funny you mentioned Sarnia Edna and I are going for a motorcycle ride with some friends up to corona just a few minutes from Sarnia a lot my relatives live in Michigan my dad was Canadian but my stepmother was American as far as the block I figured there was a skim coat that goes over everything the way they do it probably give the skim coat more to hold on to thanks for the reply

My advice would be to keep an eye on the build as much as you can. For permits, my architect applied for all that was needed. We gave him the money that was required for them and he paid with that money. Thanks for the comments.
The foreman chose to keep the scaffold up to complete the walls. That meant no slabs yet. Also, we will need 200 cubic meters of sand to bring the floor level up before pouring the floors. Thanks.
Alabama, US. Y'alls place is coming along nicely. Thank you both for the update.
Thank you much Charles.
Looking good Kevin, you must be very happy with progress so far.. well done mate !

What’s the coolest it gets there? Will you install a heat pump? Looking great!
The coldest I've seen was 25C. The hottest was 33C I believe. No on the heat pump.

Very nice Hollow Blocks. How many on the crew ? I am in Guindulman Bohol. What is your area ?
The crew is usually between 10 and 13 people. I spent February 2023 in Jagna. Bohol is beautiful for sure.
From mindanao Philippines. We are in the early stages on building our house. Materials cost, any advice? Did u have to buy a permit

How do you keep from all your materials from getting stolen. Do you have a guard at night
Hi Maria. At least one of the workers sleeps there at night, so the property is never unguarded.

Kevin Why didnt you pouring already a concrete floor and on that put your walls. Than you had a stronger foundation and a more easy way to work
