  • The Orange-dotted Tuskfish and the Blue-streak Cleaner Wrasse have very unique behaviours, which we've showcased in these two unique reef tanks.

That second one is really unique, like a public aquarium display. I’d love to see or do something like that someday

The way you find such unique and underappreciated fish species to highlight is amazing. It does wonders for this hobby it really does.

      Thanks Pyke
I’m just trying to broaden the stereotypical reef tank!

You straight to the point and quick you are with everything is awesome. I usually watch videos at 2x. I watch yours at 1x. Can't wait to see the tank! I assume it's the tusk fish one.

I’ve never heard of watching videos at double speed!?! I’m grateful and humbled that mine gives you the desire to watch at normal speed. And yes, I think the tusk fish would make for an amazing display.

That first one would be pretty cool to observe that mussel cracking fish in action. Scientist have known for decades that fish are intelligent. Well at least the ones that live in schools are.

I find in the ocean, it’s the ones that live individually or in pairs that show more intelligent traits- just the way they move, hunt, and soooo easily evade me and my clumsy nets!

      Cheers Nick
I’m full of ideas…. I like to think they’re good ones, but it seems they don’t always fit the traditional aquarium mould!
I appreciate you commenting and watching the video

Keep it up my man. I’m looking to eventually set up a patch reef deep sand bed tank highlighting Jawfish and their behavior within the actual proper environment(not a normal reef tank.)

      Nice
I haven’t had any experience at all with Jawfish. Look pretty cool. Thanks for checking out the video. I’m just trying to inspire reefers to think a bit beyond the instagram reef tank!!

@@australianaquarist Yes sir, I admire that you’re doing so. I’ve sat and watched Jaws in the wild while diving for 15-20 mins many times, they’re so entertaining and unique.

Have to be a nano John. The water changes will cost you a bomb otherwise!
