You're SO right about the 'best part of Fast & Furious being the exit 🤣. I'm just super happy that the NY Scarezone isn't going be anything space/alien-related again...
The shoe thing can not be understated, especially if you do the parks as well during the day. I bought the ugliest hiking sandal things because they dry out on water rides and were supposed to be comfortable for long hours. I think my feet gave out around hour 16 which wasn’t too shabby! I make the fatal error of choosing style over comfort a lot but I’m glad I wore the weird footwear that day lol Also, no one is looking at your feet so always go comfort! You can always crop your feet out of pictures 😂
Comfort over fashion is always the right choice at HHN! At the theme parks period, really. If you're not comfortable, the entire day will be miserable!
Thanks! Glad I came across this video. Coming for our first HHN last week of September this year. These tips will help us start planning our 2 nights of HHN! Thanks again.
Your tip from a previous video about mixing the frozen butter beer helped me a lot! Made waiting in line for Hagrid much more enjoyable(Hagrids is now my new favorite roller-coaster).
Haha that’s awesome! It’s crazy how much better the frozen is when you mix the topping in. Hagrid’s is great too! Especially when you have a butterbeer to keep you occupied in line!
I worked security last year for HHN 30 and it it very important to get in a lock-down area early because you will get escorted out of the park if you’re not in the designated area ahead of time. I would personally walk people to the best area to be locked down. In the New York area is best because you have Finnegan’s bar to access for drinks! Not get locked down in the Central Park area, you will be standing in the open sun with no shade. That the best tips I could give you! Looking forward to HHN 31!!! Stay hydrated!!!

We’ll absolutely be around! And we couldn’t agree more about the shoes. When we lived in TN we prepped by doing 10k steps a day on a treadmill to make sure our shoes were okay! Lol

I've always loved the evenings in the parks. Some of my absolute favorite times were closing out at Disney at 3am. I'd be all in on a park that stayed open around the clock or only closed for a few hours to separate the evening/am goers from the morning/day goers.
Hey guys love your videos and thank you for your inspiration. Watching you and a few other people has inspired me to do my own channel. I even gave you a shout out and thank you in one of my videos. Thank you so much and keep up the awesome job.

Was super excited to see them at the park for my birthday trip last week. They were super nice and talked to me even though I was geeking out a little bit lol. It made my Trip.
🎃Thank you for another great video! Definitely one of the best "parks youtubers"! HHN has been our favorite event for years & these tips are spot on! Hope to see yall in the fog!👻
I’m brand new to your channel but I simply love you two! I’m going to HHN Orlando in September. I live in Los Angeles so unfortunately I only have one night at HHN and this helped me plan my night!!
Hey guys! Me again! Another helpful video in preparation for my trip next month... Think I've told you before 😂😂😂 I bought some Nike space hippie trainers for when I come and oh my god they are so so comfy. Would highly highly recommend them. They have no plastic or rubber to hurt your heals or bottom of your feet either. Love you guys so much and see you next month! ❤️❤️
Haha we’ll have to consider these when we purchase our next pair of park shoes! We’re glad you’re well prepared, though! Your trip will be here before you know it!!
I should of waited on buying the tickets, but I only would save a few $$$$ for multi-night in September. I was worried since had hotel, airfare was paranoid it would sell out.... But in this case it's $-$$ not $$$ I would of saved. Great advice here. Agree with this! Can't wait for HHN!
You know what's even cooler? Wear an eye patch that looks really cool. That's why pirates wear them for when they go below deck which is darker than on deck
I wish I had realized I should wait for the multi night pass. I have a premier pass and bought 2 other nights opening. Weekend. Really wish I’d just gotten frequent fear because im coming back for Halloween too!!
Oh no, don’t worry!! You can call and upgrade your single night tickets to multi day tickets! Just call Universal and they’ll be more than happy to help you with that!!
@@ThePughTwo turns out I bought them from Tickets at Work. Oh well. This is a rebuilding year. Next year I’ll know. I’m a sucker for a discount and now I’m burned. Didn’t stop me from booking the 31st though. ☠️☠️☠️
listening to z Knights Trek livestream on the asy to work. this, "There's the Pugh Two sitting on a bench by Finnegans hoping that The Mummy will open" 😂😂😂
I am way to much of a chicken to do HHN. I’ll be there in sept and going to not so scary in Disney instead. Maybe one day I’ll be brave. But until then I’ll just live through you and enjoy HHN through your vids.
Mickey's not so scary is so much fun!! Make sure you take a bag to hold all your candy! lol And we get it, HHN definitely isn't for everyone. We appreciate you watching, though!
Always ALWAYS Break in a new pair of shoes before theme parking. If you want to keep them new looking, wear them around the house for at least a few days.
Thanks for ALL of the tips including Parts A and B that I will definitely be doing!!! One quick question…how much is an Uber/Lyft from airport to endless summer hotel and back?
IMO stay and scream (or scream early) is a much better deal than the express pass. Past HHN events I usually can go through at least 4 houses in that first hour and have even hit 7 within an hour. I buy the express passes on the weekends but honestly it really only cuts your wait time about half if they are busy. Better to go multiple days using stay and scream (or scream early) and hit the houses early and then just enjoy the scare zones, shows and food the rest of the night. I'm hoping they use Hogwarts as a stay and scream area this year as most of the other areas are in the sun.
Hi Micah. Wondering if I can ask you a question. My husband and I are old, 38 and 51, but pretty active. BUT there is no way we’re gonna last from 8am-2am. What time do you suggest going back to hotel for a nap? Then what time should we come back to park? I know stay and scream starts early.
@@allieandthenannergang8920 I'm 54 and stay all day and through the night until 2am :P But I have an 18 year old daughter I go with who isn't trying to sleep. I hear you though as most nights I'm asleep by 10pm. As mentioned before the scream early really is worth it for knocking out houses, we usually get in the stay and scream no later than 4pm and they let us out around 4:45 or as late as 5:30. Really it depends on how long it takes to get the people out of the park who don't have stay and scream. Last year we got to hit the houses at no later than 5pm which was great. (hour prior to park opening) I'd plan on being back at the park around 3:30 to make your way to the zones. If looking to nap I'd head back around 11 to 1:00 depending on how long you want ot nap. If money isn't an issue then getting the express pass for the houses Wed or Thur is worth it IMO, lines aren't that long either way but not many buy express passes for those days so that line is really fast. (about 5-10 minutes or less per house) Weekends last year we were still waiting about an hour per house even with the express pass with regular lines taking 2+ hours. If going at least 3 days you could skip the nap and do the stay and scream and knock out at least 5 houses by 7PM. The next days visit the ones you missed or want to see again. We usually get at least one day of the VIP day tour {group rate but usually only around 5 people per group) and I highly recommend that as well as you will get to see both parks and the best rides really quickly. Have only done the VIP HHN house tour once so far and you get to see a lot of the behind the scenes props and of course front of the line access for about half of the houses. It was good but not sure if I'll do the VIP HHN tour again.
@@allieandthenannergang8920 Forgot to mention we always go the 3rd week of Sep which is usually not quite as crazy as opening week or the end of Oct. We have to fly in so we usually stay for 5 days to fully enjoy the park. 3 days is perfect, the extra days are just that to explore more of what we already like. What I meant about buying the HHN express pass for the houses, you could go back and nap when the park closes and then come back at 8 or 9 (Wed/Thur) to hit all the houses in a few hours. Scare zones are more enjoyable at night anyways. I wouldn't try that for the weekend though as the stay and scream is a much better option. I usually spend between 4K to 5K for 5 days VIP/Express passes hotel and flights for HHN for 2 people. We only go to Universal for HHN so we don't have passes. If going twice or more to Universal per year look to get the annual pass as it's worth it then.
Is it only available to buy in the park? I saw in several articles it’s $30 but I couldn’t find it on the universal website, also do you need park access as well that day ?
You'll want to make sure you're back by 4:30 at the latest for stay and scream! I'd say head back between 1 and 2, and then start heading to the parks around 3:30-3:45!
Omg yes please do make another video about stay and scream + whatever other helpful subjects to cover for this HHN... it is going to by the first time at HHN this October for me and my family🥳but I want to get it right😬 Also: Anna, your makeup looks awesome! cool colors 👁👁
We absolutely will! We're just waiting for some announcements to talk about where houses are and things like that. And thank you! You're too sweet! I was trying to go for a Halloween-esque vibe, but I felt a little unsure about it afterwards lol.
Quick tip: if you stay in the Springfield stay-n-scream: not all of the houses open when they let you out. Leading up to when you go, be sure to check the universal app right at opening to see which ones open at 630 and which ones open at 7. That'll give you an idea of which house to go to first when they let you out
May I suggest do try entering a house where you can barely see what's happening at least once? The experience can be unpredictable and amazing! once I got stuck in a dark room full of fog and strobe lights and the most logical thing I could come up with to do was to yell for help... a TM led me by hand to the house's exit. It was fun. My cries for help would have beat Neve Campbell. HHN!
Lol, I think it depends on the person! I would've been an emotional mess if I had felt "trapped" in a house and couldn't find my way out. That's a great story, though!
So excited for HHN this year! Last year, I didn't do a lot during the event because it was raining and we didn't really plan that well. Not bringing a change of shoes was not a great idea on my part lol! But I'm so prepared this year!
We have our HHN tickets booked for 23rd Sept. This is my first year. Do you think crowds will be less busy compared to late Oct. Or is it busy throughout?
This year I have the frequent fear pass, so I don't feel the need to do stay and scream, and do all houses in one day, I also love to get to the park when is in full HHN mode, but maybe ill try it one of the days when is darker out and less hot.
That's the best! We're super excited to be able to drop in for a few houses each week since we're locals now. We'll do the full night for opening weekend, but after that it'll just be a few houses each night!
universal California closes the park prior to opening for the horror nights. So you can't walk around and eat prior. Plus purchase front of line tickets.....very expensive but worth it if you don't want to spend all night waiting.
Great tips! I’ve been once and don’t plan to go again anytime soon. The crowds have gotten to a point where you need precise planning and strategies. Too much like work. 😊
About to take our first family trip universal this September and are thrilled to go! We have been binging your videos. So helpful! My son is 13 and has never been to a haunted house. Would these be too extreme for him?
That’s so exciting!! I personally wouldn’t take a kid that’s never experienced a haunted house to the event. It’s definitely an adult event, and it could get overwhelming. At the very least, he should see all the movies that the houses are based off of first!
Lol they're adding to the scarezones daily! We don't have the quickest turn around and we never will. Tyler puts too much effort into the editing, but we're okay with that!
Last year we were walking to the entrance from in front of hard rock cafe and some TMs asked if we were going to HHN and we said yes. so they had us come in an entrance that we ended up going in like under RRR. Can't wait for this year. will be there Oct 13th.
Oh yeah, that's the old blue man group entrance. They open it up from time to time! That's so exciting, we hope you have a fantastic time at this year's event!!
I'd love if they keep some of the theming from this tribute store for hhn store. It would make sense since we're getting a dracula, mummy, wolf man house.
We are doing the RIP tour at 6:30 on Sunday 9/11 and staying on site. Would you recommend going to the early HHN park admission area at 4:00 or rest our feet and go when our RIP tour starts? We plan on going to the park during the day. Thanks for all the great tips and entertaining videos!
I would wait and go when your RIP tour starts! If I'm not mistaken, I think you can get there early and enjoy food and drinks as part of your tour. If that's the case, get there as soon as you can to enjoy that! lol
If your RIP tour was at 7 or 7:30 I'd say def do stay & scream, so you can knock out 3 or 4 houses before the tour. There's been times where we go to the 2nd or 3rd house (after initial crowd rush) during stay & scream, and there's no line! So we get all the scares. But with a 6:30 tour you won't have much time and I don't think it'd be worth paying for stay and scream.
Got a uoap discount tip. The Thursday before HHN there are some good resort deals. Just booked Hard Rock for 325. Discount from around 440. Also other good deals at some other resorts!
Love watching all your videos! You have helped me plan 4 trips since April 2022 from Charlotte NC. We will be there for HHN the last week of sept so we will miss the rush of fear pass. We have tickets for the last wed sept 28. Do you think we would be better off buying express for that night or should we get tickets for Thursday sept 29 also and then have 2 nights to see everything?
Thank you so much, Trina! That's always such a hard choice, and it really depends on how willing you are to wait in line. If you don't mind standing around some, doing two nights and taking advantage of stay and scream is a good tactic. Then you don't put all your eggs in one basket in case it rains, too. Express is nice, though! lol
@@ThePughTwo thank you for the advice. I am booking an unmasking tour for Sunday sept 25th also. Any chance that you guys will be in us that day? Would love to meet you both!
No, it won’t! You have to have a daytime ticket to the parks or an annual pass to get into stay and scream. Stay and scream is just a holding area inside of Universal Studios so if you don’t have a ticket to get in during the day, you can access it.
You're SO right about the 'best part of Fast & Furious being the exit 🤣. I'm just super happy that the NY Scarezone isn't going be anything space/alien-related again...

Great video as always guys. We are finally making it back in 9 days. Can’t wait.
Thank you so much! That's so exciting, too! It'll be here before you know it!
great video! I literally love your video's, honesty the only channel that makes me genuinely happy when you upload
Oh my gosh, thank you Evan! You're too sweet, we really appreciate it!
Here to help the algorithm lol every comment counts! Awesome video I cant wait to see it first hand and show the kids how amazing universal is
Awh, you're too sweet! We really appreciate that! We hope your family has the BEST time at Universal!!
Great info! Thanks 👍 btw, you both have the perfect voices!!!
Thank you Theresa ❤️!
Was super excited to see them at the park for my birthday trip last week. They were super nice and talked to me even though I was geeking out a little bit lol. It made my Trip.
It was so nice to meet you, Edward! We're happy to hear you had a great trip, and we love that we were part of it! We hope you had a great birthday!
We are coming to HHN from the UK. many thanks for the great tips. I never knew about stay and scream areas.
That's so exciting! Stay and scream is a HUGE time saver, so we're glad you watched this! We hope you have an amazing time at the parks!!
🎃Thank you for another great video! Definitely one of the best "parks youtubers"! HHN has been our favorite event for years & these tips are spot on! Hope to see yall in the fog!👻
You're too sweet!! We'll be around a lot this year, so keep an eye out for us!!
Hey guys can’t wait to see y’all again!!
We hope we run into you soon!!
I’m brand new to your channel but I simply love you two! I’m going to HHN Orlando in September. I live in Los Angeles so unfortunately I only have one night at HHN and this helped me plan my night!!
Thank you, Nick! We really appreciate that! We hope you have a fantastic time at HHN!!
You two are so fun! Just found your channel and love you guys!
Thank you, Lisa! You’re so sweet! We really appreciate your support, thanks for watching!
Hey guys!
Planning on going for the first time this year, can’t wait!!
How exciting! You're gonna love it!
Universal will let you use your existing purchase towards an upgrade to multi night. Call them.
Vacation Pictures is right!! You can call and upgrade your single night tickets to one of the multi-night options. They'll just reallocate the funds!
Super excited for HHN can't wait to find out all the houses
We can't either! We're so close to the event, it's gotta be soon now!
I just went to team member preview night. It was amazing. I love this year.
That’s so exciting! We’ve loved it so far, too!!
So happy to see you guys post! I just booked a premier hotel for November. I’m so pumped to be back!! 😃
How exciting! Content has been a little slow with the move, but we're *sort of* starting to get settled! 🤣
The flip flops comment 🤣🤣🤣 I'm definitely one of those weirdos 😬
Haha every time we say "wear tennis shoes!" we get comments talking about how comfy their flip flops or crocks are, so we've learned! 😂
Great video. Will be at universal week of 8/24 hope to see you there
That's so exciting! I'm sure we'll be around, so keep an eye out for us!
You know what's even cooler? Wear an eye patch that looks really cool. That's why pirates wear them for when they go below deck which is darker than on deck
Lol that would probably help! You’ll have to let us know if you try it out or not 😂🤣
I wish I had realized I should wait for the multi night pass.
@@ThePughTwo YOU TWO ARE WORTH YOUR WEIGHTS IN GOLD
@@ThePughTwo turns out I bought them from Tickets at Work. Oh well. This is a rebuilding year. Next year I’ll know. I’m a sucker for a discount and now I’m burned. Didn’t stop me from booking the 31st though. ☠️☠️☠️
Boom goes the dynamite
BOOM!
We are going to be doing HHN for the first time in 2024 for our wedding evening….can’t wait! Not looking forward to some of the smells tho….lol 😂
That’s so exciting!! The smells are just part of the fun! Lol
It's my first time going and I'm super excited.
That's awesome! We hope you have the best time, HHN is so much fun!!
listening to z Knights Trek livestream on the asy to work. this, "There's the Pugh Two sitting on a bench by Finnegans hoping that The Mummy will open" 😂😂😂
😂🤣 we’ve been doing a lot of that lately!
I just found this channel and I LOVE it 🤗
Thank you so much! We appreciate you watching, and we’re happy to have you here!
Always
ALWAYS
Break in a new pair of shoes before theme parking. If you want to keep them new looking, wear them around the house for at least a few days.
We totally agree! You just never know how they’re going to feel walking that much until you actually do it.
I'm so excited! See you in the fog...👻
🌫🌫🌫
Thanks for ALL of the tips including Parts A and B that I will definitely be doing!!!
One quick question…how much is an Uber/Lyft from airport to endless summer hotel and back?
Hey there! So it will likely range anywhere between 20-40 dollars each way!
Love love this video and these tips! We are SO NEW to the HHN scene and this helped a lot
Thank you guys so much!
loved the video guys! please make a more detailed stay and scream vid:D it would help out a ton!
We will! It’s coming! Lol
Omg yes please do make another video about stay and scream + whatever other helpful subjects to cover for this HHN... it is going to by the first time at HHN this October for me and my family🥳but I want to get it right😬
Also: Anna, your makeup looks awesome! cool colors
👁👁
We absolutely will! We're just waiting for some announcements to talk about where houses are and things like that. And thank you! You're too sweet! I was trying to go for a Halloween-esque vibe, but I felt a little unsure about it afterwards lol.
@@ThePughTwo sounds like a plan!👍 and no, it totally works and that is the vibe I got for sure🎃👻👽(at least imo😁)
I can’t wait for my first hhn trip next month
That’s so exciting! You’re gonna have so much fun!!
You guys are right list year I walked 34,000 steps 😳
Haha it makes for some long days!
Quick tip: if you stay in the Springfield stay-n-scream: not all of the houses open when they let you out.
Leading up to when you go, be sure to check the universal app right at opening to see which ones open at 630 and which ones open at 7. That'll give you an idea of which house to go to first when they let you out
Yes, absolutely! We plan on talking about that once we know where houses are and which ones will be available!
I am so glad use done this blog about h h n use are absolutely
We're so glad it was helpful, Dougie!
I'm going there for the first time in October
How fun! We hope you have a great time!
Fun HHN vlog...we are ready!! ~Dawn
Thank you, Dawn! We are, too!!
So excited for HHN this year! Last year, I didn't do a lot during the event because it was raining and we didn't really plan that well. Not bringing a change of shoes was not a great idea on my part lol! But I'm so prepared this year!
Haha that's awesome! Like we said, you live and you learn. Hopefully this year is better!!
I remember I’ve always wanted to go, anyways is micheal myers there?
He is this year! They're having a Halloween house!
We have our HHN tickets booked for 23rd Sept. This is my first year. Do you think crowds will be less busy compared to late Oct. Or is it busy throughout?
How fun!! And yes, September tends to be much slower than October!
@@ThePughTwo Thanks so much ☺️🙌
This year I have the frequent fear pass, so I don't feel the need to do stay and scream, and do all houses in one day, I also love to get to the park when is in full HHN mode, but maybe ill try it one of the days when is darker out and less hot.
That’s good to know, thanks for the tips!
Great tips! I’ve been once and don’t plan to go again anytime soon. The crowds have gotten to a point where you need precise planning and strategies. Too much like work. 😊
The crowds can get crazy, that's for sure!
Please also cover the Universal Hotel entrance for HHN. We got to interact with the stilt walkers before they went for gate entry last year
We'll keep this in mind, thanks!
Love all your tips!
Thank you so much, Tracy!
Estoy emocionada. este es mi primer año y sus videos me emocionan mucho, ya quiero que sea octubre!
That moment when you film your video one day too early. 😂 Great tips though!
Lol they're adding to the scarezones daily! We don't have the quickest turn around and we never will. Tyler puts too much effort into the editing, but we're okay with that!
@@ThePughTwo what's that? You want to hire me as an editor? 👀🎃👀
Thanks
Thank you for watching!
It really seems like that's what's going to happen based on the clues on the desk! We'll see, though!
Woot!
🎉🎉
Got a uoap discount tip. The Thursday before HHN there are some good resort deals. Just booked Hard Rock for 325. Discount from around 440. Also other good deals at some other resorts!
Oh wow! That is a really great deal. Thanks for sharing!!
We are going to HHN soon! If we have express tickets for HHN will that get us into the scream & stay?
Thank you guys for all the informational videos!
No, it won’t! You have to have a daytime ticket to the parks or an annual pass to get into stay and scream. Stay and scream is just a holding area inside of Universal Studios so if you don’t have a ticket to get in during the day, you can access it.
They just announced them all :)
Finally!! Lol
