Im a tad bit confused, does the stay and scream cost extra? Or if you're already a daytime guest, you just have to find a stay-and-scream area and show tickets? Please help. Thanks!
The latter! As long as you have a park ticket or AP, you don’t need the scream early ticket!
Do you need a day time ticket for the park to get into HHN?
No, but a daytime ticket gets you access to stay and scream which is basically early access to the event.
Thanks for all the helpful tips. I do have a question. If you have the stay and scream pass but not a regular day time park ticket, would I be able to enjoy some of the rides before I go into the staging areas for stay and scream?
Absolutely! Like we said, we suggest getting into stay and scream by 4:30, and the scream early ticket gets you in at 3:00, so you’ll have about an hour and a half!
Do you think there is going to be a stay and scream for stranger things?
Probably! Fingers crossed, anyway!
My very first HHN was just last year, and I got to see 8 out of 10 houses! Little tips that I suggest is watching and learning what kind of food they'll have, what places are best to eat at, packing self-essentials that can help you feel a little more comfortable at the park, and always drinking water. I left with my family at around 2 am in the morning and it was a lot on my body, but it was worth it

So is the Scream Early ticket basically the same as Stay and Scream...just Scream Early means I won't need an actual park ticket? Just the Scream Early add on with a HHN ticket?

I’m still a bit confused…. If I add on the “Stay and Scream” ticket to my HHN ticket - does it basically allow me in at 3 pm and I could potentially ride a few rides rather than just walking around, or standing in one of the haunted house lines, or checking out a scare zone in broad daylight, or hanging out in some random areas? Yes, this is my first time and I want to make the most of it. It’s been on my bucket list forever.
This will be our first HHN. My 15 year old finally convinced me to go. We got the frequent fear pass. I'm a chicken 🐔😁. Very informative video. Thanks!

My early sept trip includes 4 nights to HHN, 1 night at SW HoS, 1 night at BG HoS, and 1 night at mickeys halloween party. pretty much a halloween event every night of the trip lol
My problem with stay & scream though, is you have to stand in line for 1-2 hours for your first house in the hot sun. If you only have 1 night, then its definitely a good idea, but with my 4 nights, I think I'll just hang out at IoA till around 7 and then just wander over, so I don't have to waste so much time in a 'holding area'

We are planning on staying at the Hard Rock Hotel at the end of September. Does staying at the Hard Rock include Express for HHN? Thanks and keep up the good work.
No, just like tickets, express for HHN is completely separate!

Thank you for pointing out about how to get your tickets at the hotel! I ordered HHN tickets, but haven't seen a digital code come through my email, so I was worried I would have to wait in the will call line at the park itself.
If you ever do get stuck in will call you can use the automated machines to pick up tix. Usually doesn’t take too long.

We have HHN tickets but want to know is the rest park opened as well or do those ride’s completely shut down
It’s typically just the major rides that are open like rip ride, mummy, gringotts, and MIB. I think transformers usually is too, but that’s about it! A lot of the restaurants stay open, but not all of them.
IMPORTANT QUESTION
2024 will be my first HHN and it looks like they just started selling single night tickets, HHN express passes and hotel bundles but I don’t see any multi night HHN tickets or scream early tickets.
Do they usually make multi night tickets available later, or is it possible they won’t have it this year? My family and I are going the last week of September and want to do 2 HHN nights. If I wait to see if they sell multi night, how long is it ok for me to wait to get tickets so they don’t sell out?

Don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation with people in line! We’ve made several friends in line at HHN and have heard a lot of stories about others doing the same. And just enjoy yourself!! It’s a great event!

Some of the rides are open and the premier pass gets you in for 1 night, but it is a select night and not available all the time!

Not any hotter than just standing out in the sun, but you’re not usually in the shade, so yes it’s hot. A lot of people use sun umbrellas or person fans to help!

Hi guys! great video as always.... not our first time at HHN this year but it is our first time staying on property. I'd heard that there was a dedicated entrance for hotel guests? not sure if this is true... if it is, do you know where this is?
They did have a separate entrance for hotel guests the last time we went. It was where Blue Man Group used to be. Underneath rip ride rocket.
That’s so exciting! And yes, there is! Once you go through the arch, it’s all the way to the right on the far side of guest services. It’s hidden, but if you just keep going to the right, you’ll see it! Lol

That’s so fun!! You could also throw a universal monsters movie in there. We like to try to find random videos for the original houses like a yeti and dueling dragons. It can be hard, but it’s so much fun!!
I'm still confused about the Scream Early Ticket lol. So if you have an AP, there's no point because you can get in early anyway? I'm coming one day for the RIP and another to eat lol!!! You mentioned eating at the beginning so I'm trying to make sure I follow exactly what you say but I feel like I'm about to make several mistakes (SEVERAL LOL). I'm trying to be positive but my track record proves I'm doing something wrong (not to mention I'm scared lol)!!!!!
That’s right! You don’t need scream early. All it does is get you into the park between 3-5 (which your AP already does). All you need to get into stay and scream is just your HHN ticket! If you’re spending an entire night eating, you’ll have plenty of time, too!

My husband and I are 56 and love Halloween! We are going to get the Horror Night tickets for Sunday night, September 10th. Do you think we should buy the Express Pass? Do you think the RIP tour is worth the money?
We love that!! And it just depends on how much you’re wanting to do in one night. If you’re wanting to do and see it all, express is your best bet. Well, RIP is technically, but they’re not cheap! Lol
My Wife has epilepsy but has been episode free for 7 years now, we have gone to haunted attractions in the past that had strobes but only in concentrated areas..... in your opinion, do you think we should give it a go???
We would suggest asking your doctor!!
This will be our first ever HHN going sun Sept 10th. Will only be there for 2 1/2 days, so I'm not sure if I wanna sacrifice 2 hours waiting in the stay and scream areas vs walking around and getting on other rides. The only house I'm super wanting is Stranger things. Other than that I just wanna enjoy the environment lol and just happy to be there. Would it just be better to go once it's opened up or still worth it to wait in the stay and scream?
We suggest getting into stay and scream around 4:30, so you’re only spending about 30 minutes of “park time” in stay and scream. Once 5 hits, they’ll kick you out if you’re not in stay and scream, so you’re not missing out on much of anything! And you get part, if not all, of that 30 minutes back by getting early access to HHN through stay and scream.

I always take earplugs, too! They’re a lifesaver when the event gets too loud!
My cousin and I were planning to go to HHN on the same day (opening night,) and I bought the early access ticket. A couple days ago we checked, and you can't buy an early access ticket for that date anymore. If he got a day pass to universal, and a ticket to HHN, and I got an early access HHN pass, would we be let into HHN at the same time/place?
You would! You can use your early access ticket to get into the park between 3-5 and then you’ll use your HHN ticket to check into stay and scream!
Two questions, we have two park one day tickets along with the HHN tickets do you suggest starting the day over at Islands of Adventure?
And we have the Express Pass for the Houses so would you suggest going through and experiencing the Scare Zones first then make our way through the Houses?
If you’re going to the parks and HHN in the same day, starting in islands makes sense! Our game plan usually goes like this: stay and scream for whatever house we’re most excited for and then try to knock out 2-3 other houses nearby before their wait time gets above 30 min (all without express). Then we get food/express a few houses and pass the time until it’s dark. That’s when the scare zones really thrive, and continue going through houses and hopefully go through our favorite ones again with express.

The major rides are open for most of the night! There’s a list of them on the HHN website!
Like I mentioned on a previous video, we don't go to HHN, but I still watch your videos. Yall are quite thorough with your info. If we did do HHN, we would be well informed on how to do everything. That's one of many reasons why I like to watch yall.

Thank you!! Not all the areas do, but they have team members that will give you a little like county fair paper ticket and let you run to a nearby restroom. You have to give them the ticket back to return to the stay and scream area.

My dumbass has been going for the last 5 years and im obsesssed. I didn't know hotel guests have a separate entrance to horror nights. Where is it located? How did i not know, i thought i was an expert😂
😂😂 it’s to the far right once you walk through the arch! To the right of guest services past the bathrooms that are hidden over there. They sometimes use it for APs during passholder appreciation too.
Is HHN also at islands of adventure ? And are the regular attractions open during HHN? I wanna go on hulk and Spider-Man but also see HHN !
No, just at Universal Studios. Both those rides are in islands!
I heard the houses can be very loud and sometimes overwhelming. Would you recommend wearing earplugs? And Tylenol lol
I have sensitive ears, so we always pack ear plugs! They’re great to have in case you need them!
Just to clarify…there’s no bathrooms in the stay and scream holding areas?! That seems so strange to me. So what do people do? Hold it for an hour? 😅😂
They’ll release you to a bathroom, they have a little system for it, but it’s kinda a hassle.
Stay & scream is absolutely a must. Especially if you don’t plant on getting express but still want to see all of the houses in 1 night.
I also like that you can get nice and tipsy at the Springfield bar.
Yes!! It’s the biggest time saver. And yeah, Springfield is probs our favorite stay and scream location! 😂
We will have an annual pass. Do you know when they typically shut down the Hogwarts Express on HHN nights?
They’ll close it down by 5! Possibly earlier to clear the lines by 5.
For food me and bf usually go to Bubba gump.Its right there when u walk into the Universal resort and its so good!

Of course! They have done this every year for the last 33 years!
Ill be there Sept 14-18 and every on-site hotel is sold out!! Most are for the entire month already. Last year at the same time, all had availability. Seems like it will be a busiest year yet!

Someone told me you need a pass for stay and scream. We are staying at RP for 2 days and have HHN tickets for the one night. Do we need a separate pass?
If you have daytime tickets to the park, you don’t need the scream early ticket. If you don’t have a daytime ticket to the park, the scream early ticket gets you in from 3-5 so you can check into stay and scream with your HHN ticket!
*QUESTION* We are passholders from KY. We will be at HHN on 10/25. We booked a reservation at Finnegan's at 2:30. (We wanted 4:00 but alas, it was not meant to be) . Will we get kicked out of there for Stay n Scream?🤔 I mean.. that's pretty early. Last year it worked out so nicely. We ate in Finnegan's and then strolled on out to HHN.
So I’d assume you won’t be able to keep your table that entire time, but you should have plenty of time to leave and get back into the NY stay and scream area. You could wait at the Finnegan’s bar after that!

My biggest question is, will i be able to see the opening ceremony at all from today cafe stay and scream? I havent ever seen the opening ceremonies, im really interested to. I also dont want to sit in front of the gates at 1 pm 🙃
We’ve never done that stay and scream, so I’m not sure! I don’t think you’d have a good view, regardless, though!

Maybe! Lol we have a FF pass, so we’ll be there a lot, but don’t have specific plans for most nights.

Is the 3 house haunted house day tour worth doing and i am doing the stay and scream and express pass as well are you still able to enjoy the whole park with stay and scream? And then at 5pm go to stay an scream area also where is the best area to enjoy the opening ceremony if i am doing stay and scream this will be my first year
The unmasking tours are so much fun! We did the 6 house last year and loved it!! You can enjoy the parks for a little bit, but we suggest being in stay and scream by 4:30 like we said. Your best bet for the opening scaremony is the stay and scream by today cafe but I’m not sure how much of a view you’ll have

And I’ve done haunted trails and haunts before, universal studios doesn’t have them where you gotta crawl through tight spaces do they?
If you have a park ticket, you don’t need the scream early ticket. And no, no tight spaces! Everything is wheelchair accessible!
@@ThePughTwo Sweet, I went to a haunted trail few years ago and they had us crawl through a tube like we were going down to sewers for pennywise and had to crawl through a vent. So this is good news that Universal doesn’t have that, I know the sets change but always seems they have Michael myers there every year lol..

How scary would you say the houses are? My wife’s a scaredy cat lol. Is it genuinely scary, or are they more corny scary if that makes sense
I’m a giant scaredy cat, and I don’t think they’re that bad! Of course there’s jump scares throughout the houses, but the scareactors just go right back in their boo hole for the next group. They don’t chase you or terrorize you like they do at some places! Plus, the sets are movie quality, so a lot of it is just looking at the amazing sets!
I was able to get RIP tickets for Halloween day, do I still have to line up early at the gate to see the opening ceremony?
That’s so exciting! And I would think so, unfortunately. You check in for your RIP tour at your assigned time, and the tour doesn’t include getting to see the scaremony, at least to my knowledge.
We will be down there the first week in November. Halloween horror nights are not our thing at all! How is it during the day?
The decor is up but there are no scareactors! Other than that and the fact the park closes at 5, not much different
Going to go back this year. Can't wait just hope that the weather is ok... maybe even good during the trip.
