Honestly, Halloween. Old school horror, for me, doesn't usually translate well into an HHN house. But Bugs is my most anticipated because it creeps me out the most! That's why I'm paying them money for a ticket, scare the ** out of me.

Hellblock Horror was supposed to be an Evil Dead house I believe. The movie got pushed back until next year. So Universal had to scramble to throw something together. This is also last on my list of most anticipated. BUT......I can confirm that doing a paranormal investigation in an abandoned prison is creepy AF!!!!
So excited to be going back sept 11 thru 16. We couldn't even get rooms the following week anywhere on universal property. Halloween horror nights is crazy popular!
Hey guys! Once again another great video. My most anticipated house is Halloween and my least anticipated house is The Weeknd. I watched all the music videos that the house is going to be based on and I thought they were horrible, so I really don’t think I will even be going through that house. I’ll give the bug house a try before that one and I am terrified of bugs. I do think there can be a lot of really good houses. Can’t wait, will be there on opening night for my very 1st HHN.

I can’t believe there’s going to be a house dedicated to the Chupacabra!!! That’s so exciting! It’s so popular here in Brazil, I’d bet every Brazilian who’s 20 years old or older knows what (should I say who?) the Chupacabra is. Can’t wait!
Most excited for Bugs Eaten Alive cause bugs freak me out so I know this house will scare me… Least excited for The Weeknd mostly because I don’t know what to expect and all the other houses sound amazing!! Y’all are too young, but during HHN 12 - Islands of Fear, there was house in Marvel Superhero island called ‘Maximum Carnage’. The premise being Carnage was running things now as the heroes had been defeated. While it wasn’t a prison setting, it was very industrial and I immediately thought of it when Universal Creative was talking about this year’s Hellblock Horror house. Maximum Carnage was awesome! If this one even remotely pulls that feeling, it’ll be good. And there’s going to be a past HHN ‘resident’ there! (Fun fact- Marvel was super pissed about Maximum Carnage, 😂. It was great, though!)
Haha, that's so funny! We've heard stories about HHN being in Islands, but at least I (Anna) haven't been to an event where they used both parks! We'll be interested to see what that house is like!
I listened to a HHN podcast and they said that the bug house was gonna be one of those houses that will make guests want to leave the second they get in there. They also mentioned that there will be SIF (Stuff In Face), so...yay
Im excited for all of them but la fiesta del chupacabras hits the sopt. Im from Puerto Rico where the legend of el chupacabra originated so I just can't wait to see what they come up with.

Anna I’m with you, I’m putting the bugs house at DEAD LAST. I am dreading it and want to do it last so I can go back to the hotel and immediately shower as I know I’ll feel like bugs are crawling on me. Haha.

We are going to our first ever HHN on opening night! We can only go one day this year, and it’s opening night, so I will most likely skip the bugs house!! I look forward to watching a walkthrough of it though! I’m most excited for the winters wake and the coven houses!
My ranking has a caveat to it depending on what they do with Hellblock Horror but it's as follows: 1. Legends Collide (love old school monsters) 2. Spirits of the Coven (love witches and the speakeasy part is an interesting twist) 3.Fiesta de Chupacabra (I'm curious to see if they have some in the house it sounds interesting) 4/5. Bugs eaten alive- Mostly I want to see animated giant bugs it really sounds kinda cool like the old school bug monster movies and should be more than just a person in an outfit 4/10. Hellblock Horror- it's on the bottom if it's more like prisoners eating people ect but if it's monsters (like werewolves, swamp monsters, ECT) that have been imprisoned it's a 4 and the Bugs onward moves below it. 5/6. Dead man's Pier zombie style not really my thing nor is fishing but it's middle of the pack 6/7. Halloween - because it is a classic slasher it's higher than the others but it's still a guy with a knife end of the day 7/8. Descendants of destruction- Mutated people drag this one down I'm curious to see what they do to the NY subway 8/9. Horrors of Blumhouse- just seems like a slasher sort of thing person chasing you with a weapon 9/10. The weekND- sounds like a standard dude with a knife chasing you plus bandaged maniacs and gore just not my thing
@@ThePughTwo Not sure if we'll make it to all of the houses since we are only doing one night of HHN on Oct. 12 but we will be there during the day as well so should be able to get an early start. The day after we are doing the Mickey's not so scary Halloween with the kids, but now that you live in Orlando you can give that a shot whenever too. It'll be my first time doing a Halloween party at Disney, but this is my 3rd HHN

Would your suggest in stay and scream to make Finnegan reservations? I think the cell block has potential only bc I think of cabin in the woods or thirteen ghosts.. those were probably fun movie with monster or demon locked up .. just a though🎃🎃🎃
Cabin in the Woods is such a great movie!! And the problem with Finnegan’s reservations is that you won’t be “in line” in stay and scream. They’ll have areas sectioned off where you basically get in line for whatever house you want to “rope drop” and if you’re in Finnegan’s, you’re not in line. Now if you’re not super concerned with getting as much done as possible, that could be a great plan! Stay and scream is notoriously hot and miserable lol
Hi guys, i have recently discovered you with my daughter and we have binged almost all your back videos preping for our upcoming trip to HHN and Universal. We just love the both of yours videos and you have given us so many new things to try this upcoming trip. I have a question hoping you can help, which stay and scream area do you think is best this yr now that the houses have been announced? We have express passes and doing the night of Sun Sept 4th.
We don't really know yet! They'll eventually release a map of the event confirming the house locations, and we'll have a better idea then. We might even have our game plan video out by the 4th to really answer this question, but if not, send us a message on Instagram and Facebook on the 3rd and we'll be able to help a lot more!!
I am going there the 22nd, I am from Long Island NY. What I am probably hitting first is Blumhouse, Halloween, Dracula one, then probably the Weekend one. With the Weekend I basically have to keep reminding myself that is a thing lol. I would have been happier with Scream finally or Stranger Things. Since last year was my first Horror Nights or even on a plane lol.
@@ThePughTwo Yeah the originals were messed up last year. I am a movie buff, so the idea of those ones appeal to me more. But yeah I am sure the originals will be good.
Grear video as always. My top three going into this would be 1. Dead Mans Pier, 2. Spirits of the Coven. 3. Universal Monsters. This will only be our 3rd year going and the original houses have always been our favorites. 2019 Graveyard games and Yeti were our favorites and 2021 Wicked Growth and Puppet Theater were our top houses. I really think these scarezones are going to be some of the best. Any news or rumors on chainsaws being back in Simpsons area? It was kind of a dead area without something there last year.
We have no idea about the roaming chainsaws! They’ve moved some stuff in Simpson’s that gives us hope, but we’ve also heard they had some staffing issues again this year, too.
Oh my when got to number 1...I have to go back thru the list after work but that one jumped out at me earlier! I do believe Dead Man's pier is my 1! I was kind of hoping for the bug house to be a front of the park house, because the houses in the back by MIB are usually shorter - I, like Anna, am not a fan of bugs but that's what HHN is all about being scared! i'm looking so forward to the bug house! I think if Universal would do a collab for HHN with Poppy for next year, that would be amazing. Her tunes are very HHN!

I 100% agree with you about the weekend house thing, i kinda know who the weekend are but i couldnt tell you their latest hit song, but it would be nice if universal see's that house as a popular hit.than hopefully they would open up to doing more stuff with other specific bands. I would literally give all of my money to universal if they would Team up with GHOST and give tobias his own house.

I was honestly expecting and looking forward to different houses this year, but considering the first few announced were classic monsters, I figured it would follow, the bugs house reminds me of goosebumps I wonder if they will be doing something similar, super creepy and gross, something straight out of a nightmare of mine, it’s me and my boyfriends first Halloween horror nights, we’re so excited !! Maybe we’ll make it an annual trip, we’re going for our year anniversary! We were gonna get the scream early ticket for one of the nights, so they apply to any of the days? When I was trying to buy them earlier it didn’t give the option to put a date I don’t know much about chupacabra or watched the 2 Blum house movies, hopefully soon! But the hell block horror, descendants of destruction, and spirits of the coven interests me most, The Weeknd trailer reminded me of the nurses from silent hill so I’m curious to see more, and look into the past music videos for the after hours album, I hope the Halloween isn’t like the new movie from Netflix, I personally wasn’t all into it I was hoping for a trick or treat house or something classic horror and creepy. A Billie eilish house would be cool for the future, but yeah so many possibilities!

This house lineup looks amazing! Only complaint is it does feel a little bit random. Not enough tied into the Traditional Halloween theme. But that's just nitpicking lol. I'm especially excited for Legends Collide; love the classic monsters. Team Woflman for me!
Top anticipated to least for me is Dead Mans Wharf Fiesta de Chupacabras Halloween Bugs Eaten Alive Universal Monsters Hellblock Horror Blumhouse Spirits of the Coven Descendants of Destruction Weeknd I agree with the concerns on Blumhouse - was not really a fan of Freaky but we shall see. I did love Black Phone. I'm terrified of most bugs so I am pretty sure that i will be crying the whole time through the house. The bottom for me is the Weeknd (was not impressed with the music or videos but different strokes for different folks). I think this will be a great year and can't wait to get to the fog.

I’m going to Universal Orlando for the first time Feb 4th-11th wanted to make it a long trip so I could take my time and enjoy it, how are the crowds usually at that time?
Not gonna lie, mildly disappointed that there aren’t 5 IP houses. My most anticipated house? Easy. Halloween! The music soundtrack blaring. Michael coming at me. I’m gonna love it. I COMPLETELY disagree on Freaky. I enjoyed the film very much and kept thinking, this will make a great room at HHN over and over again. The killers home, the golf course, the freezer scene, the party finale. The only reason I’m not sure if that’s my 2nd most anticipated is because I haven’t seen the black phone (it’s a lot harder to see in the UK). From what I’ve heard it’s one room for the entire film and I’m not sure how you make a good house from one room. Monsters legends is either 2 or 3 with freaky, I’ve got bugs at 4. I’m not scared of bugs, but so many people are. If the hairs on your neck are standing on end because you know you’ll be so afraid, perfect. After that, whatever. None are jumping out as I can’t wait for them. The Weeknd though. Jeez. Im a foreign tourist who can only come every few years and was barred from entry thanks to we all know last year. You get beatljuice, you get ghostbusters, you get Texas chainsaw or child’s play. I haven’t seen any of these houses. I get a damn singer as my IP. Unless I quite literally wet my pants and need a new change of trousers from going through it, it’s a waste of a house. Im going for 2 nights so I should get everything done but I know what’s bottom of the list and it’s some singer’s house ALL NIGHT. I also really love the tagline for personal irony reasons. Never go alone you say. Universal, I have 2 kids and no babysitter except my wonderful wife. We can ONLY come alone. So that’s just what I’ll be doing. Bless her, she’s too afraid.

Haha so far it hasn’t been too bad! I (Anna) got eaten up by some mosquitos the first week, but we haven’t seen many since then! I did see a snake one day and about lost it, though 😂🤣
Honestly I’m so scared lol idk I think I want to go to the weekend house and maybe the chupacabras one since I’m latina but everything else is so scary! 😭
So I'm a big scaredy cat and last year was my first year and that worked great for me with the mask and glass. We have tickets to come back this year and I think I am in big trouble. No way will I go in the bug house. The only reason I come is that Halloween has always been my dad's favorite time of year and he loves this stuff. So the grandkids that have been bringing him have gotten out of going with granddad, so guess who gets the job. I slowly learning to like it, but looks like this year I will be put to the test and will earn some credits.
We didn’t think the glass made a big difference last year, personally! Sometimes they stayed behind it, and sometimes they didn’t. You still never knew what was going to happen! lol we hope you have a great time at this year’s event, though. You can do it!! We believe in you!

Y’all are too young, but during HHN 12 - Islands of Fear, there was house in Marvel Superhero island called ‘Maximum Carnage’. The premise being Carnage was running things now as the heroes had been defeated. While it wasn’t a prison setting, it was very industrial and I immediately thought of it when Universal Creative was talking about this year’s Hellblock Horror house. Maximum Carnage was awesome! If this one even remotely pulls that feeling, it’ll be good. And there’s going to be a past HHN ‘resident’ there! (Fun fact- Marvel was super pissed about Maximum Carnage, 😂. It was great, though!)
Haha, that's so funny! We've heard stories about HHN being in Islands, but at least I (Anna) haven't been to an event where they used both parks! We'll be interested to see what that house is like!

The spirits of the coven was an amazing house.
We are going to our first ever HHN on opening night! We can only go one day this year, and it’s opening night, so I will most likely skip the bugs house!! I look forward to watching a walkthrough of it though! I’m most excited for the winters wake and the coven houses!

My ranking has a caveat to it depending on what they do with Hellblock Horror but it's as follows:
1. Legends Collide (love old school monsters)
2. Spirits of the Coven (love witches and the speakeasy part is an interesting twist)
3.Fiesta de Chupacabra (I'm curious to see if they have some in the house it sounds interesting)
4/5. Bugs eaten alive- Mostly I want to see animated giant bugs it really sounds kinda cool like the old school bug monster movies and should be more than just a person in an outfit
4/10. Hellblock Horror- it's on the bottom if it's more like prisoners eating people ect but if it's monsters (like werewolves, swamp monsters, ECT) that have been imprisoned it's a 4 and the Bugs onward moves below it.
5/6. Dead man's Pier zombie style not really my thing nor is fishing but it's middle of the pack
6/7. Halloween - because it is a classic slasher it's higher than the others but it's still a guy with a knife end of the day
7/8. Descendants of destruction- Mutated people drag this one down I'm curious to see what they do to the NY subway
8/9. Horrors of Blumhouse- just seems like a slasher sort of thing person chasing you with a weapon
9/10. The weekND- sounds like a standard dude with a knife chasing you plus bandaged maniacs and gore just not my thing

@@ThePughTwo Not sure if we'll make it to all of the houses since we are only doing one night of HHN on Oct. 12 but we will be there during the day as well so should be able to get an early start. The day after we are doing the Mickey's not so scary Halloween with the kids, but now that you live in Orlando you can give that a shot whenever too. It'll be my first time doing a Halloween party at Disney, but this is my 3rd HHN

I think the cell block has potential only bc I think of cabin in the woods or thirteen ghosts.. those were probably fun movie with monster or demon locked up .. just a though🎃🎃🎃
Cabin in the Woods is such a great movie!! And the problem with Finnegan’s reservations is that you won’t be “in line” in stay and scream. They’ll have areas sectioned off where you basically get in line for whatever house you want to “rope drop” and if you’re in Finnegan’s, you’re not in line. Now if you’re not super concerned with getting as much done as possible, that could be a great plan! Stay and scream is notoriously hot and miserable lol

Hi guys, i have recently discovered you with my daughter and we have binged almost all your back videos preping for our upcoming trip to HHN and Universal. We just love the both of yours videos and you have given us so many new things to try this upcoming trip. I have a question hoping you can help, which stay and scream area do you think is best this yr now that the houses have been announced? We have express passes and doing the night of Sun Sept 4th.
We don't really know yet! They'll eventually release a map of the event confirming the house locations, and we'll have a better idea then. We might even have our game plan video out by the 4th to really answer this question, but if not, send us a message on Instagram and Facebook on the 3rd and we'll be able to help a lot more!!
I am going there the 22nd, I am from Long Island NY. What I am probably hitting first is Blumhouse, Halloween, Dracula one, then probably the Weekend one.
With the Weekend I basically have to keep reminding myself that is a thing lol.
I would have been happier with Scream finally or Stranger Things. Since last year was my first Horror Nights or even on a plane lol.

Grear video as always. My top three going into this would be 1. Dead Mans Pier, 2. Spirits of the Coven. 3. Universal Monsters. This will only be our 3rd year going and the original houses have always been our favorites. 2019 Graveyard games and Yeti were our favorites and 2021 Wicked Growth and Puppet Theater were our top houses. I really think these scarezones are going to be some of the best. Any news or rumors on chainsaws being back in Simpsons area? It was kind of a dead area without something there last year.
We have no idea about the roaming chainsaws! They’ve moved some stuff in Simpson’s that gives us hope, but we’ve also heard they had some staffing issues again this year, too.
The bug house is definitely last for me. And I'm not even afraid of bugs. It's just like....why?? Lol

I just think the original stuff is always much better than the IP stuff. Descendants of Destruction is my most hype because as someone from NYC, I'm excited to see what this looks like!

I was kind of hoping for the bug house to be a front of the park house, because the houses in the back by MIB are usually shorter - I, like Anna, am not a fan of bugs but that's what HHN is all about being scared! i'm looking so forward to the bug house! I think if Universal would do a collab for HHN with Poppy for next year, that would be amazing. Her tunes are very HHN!

I 100% agree with you about the weekend house thing, i kinda know who the weekend are but i couldnt tell you their latest hit song, but it would be nice if universal see's that house as a popular hit.than hopefully they would open up to doing more stuff with other specific bands. I was honestly expecting and looking forward to different houses this year, but considering the first few announced were classic monsters, I figured it would follow, the bugs house reminds me of goosebumps I wonder if they will be doing something similar, super creepy and gross, something straight out of a nightmare of mine, it’s me and my boyfriends first Halloween horror nights, we’re so excited !! Maybe we’ll make it an annual trip, we’re going for our year anniversary!
We were gonna get the scream early ticket for one of the nights, so they apply to any of the days? When I was trying to buy them earlier it didn’t give the option to put a date

I agree with the concerns on Blumhouse - was not really a fan of Freaky but we shall see. I did love Black Phone. I'm terrified of most bugs so I am pretty sure that i will be crying the whole time through the house. The bottom for me is the Weeknd (was not impressed with the music or videos but different strokes for different folks). I think this will be a great year and can't wait to get to the fog.

February is a great time to visit! The crowds should be substantially lower, and the weather is much milder too!

Not gonna lie, mildly disappointed that there aren’t 5 IP houses. My most anticipated house? Easy. Halloween! The music soundtrack blaring. Michael coming at me. I’m gonna love it. I COMPLETELY disagree on Freaky. I enjoyed the film very much and kept thinking, this will make a great room at HHN over and over again. The killers home, the golf course, the freezer scene, the party finale. The only reason I’m not sure if that’s my 2nd most anticipated is because I haven’t seen the black phone (it’s a lot harder to see in the UK). From what I’ve heard it’s one room for the entire film and I’m not sure how you make a good house from one room. Monsters legends is either 2 or 3 with freaky, I’ve got bugs at 4. I’m not scared of bugs, but so many people are. If the hairs on your neck are standing on end because you know you’ll be so afraid, perfect.
After that, whatever. None are jumping out as I can’t wait for them. The Weeknd though. Jeez. Im a foreign tourist who can only come every few years and was barred from entry thanks to we all know last year. You get beatljuice, you get ghostbusters, you get Texas chainsaw or child’s play. I haven’t seen any of these houses. I get a damn singer as my IP. Unless I quite literally wet my pants and need a new change of trousers from going through it, it’s a waste of a house. Im going for 2 nights so I should get everything done but I know what’s bottom of the list and it’s some singer’s house ALL NIGHT.
I also really love the tagline for personal irony reasons. Never go alone you say. Universal, I have 2 kids and no babysitter except my wonderful wife. We can ONLY come alone. So that’s just what I’ll be doing. Bless her, she’s too afraid.

So I'm a big scaredy cat and last year was my first year and that worked great for me with the mask and glass. We have tickets to come back this year and I think I am in big trouble. No way will I go in the bug house. The only reason I come is that Halloween has always been my dad's favorite time of year and he loves this stuff. So the grandkids that have been bringing him have gotten out of going with granddad, so guess who gets the job. I slowly learning to like it, but looks like this year I will be put to the test and will earn some credits.
We didn’t think the glass made a big difference last year, personally! Sometimes they stayed behind it, and sometimes they didn’t. You still never knew what was going to happen! lol we hope you have a great time at this year’s event, though. You can do it!! We believe in you!
Are the HHN food booths going to be open during the day? Or only during HHN?
We're not sure yet! In the past, it's just been for the event, but I think last year some of the booths were available during the day, too.
