I do not understand why Persimmon is called japani phal in Pakistan...it is native to China..and was introduced to Japan in the 7th century..Now it’s grown in many countries of the world...Persimmons taste the best when ripe..They can be eaten fresh but here in Europe they are used in jellies, pies and puddings too....
