After watching your breakdown I think i Have it down! only around 5kc right now, with 2 of them being super scuffed rng running around in cricles like a madman, but after a dozen or so attempts Ive was able to get 2 kc with still a good amount of supplies left to spare!
Wish you made this guide a month before you did when I was going through DT2. Time after time, the enraged phase kicked my ass. To this day I still only have 1 Whisperer KC, and it wasn't even clean. Had to borrow my friend's Ahrims, and even then we kill traded, luckily it still counted for the quest, thank god.
i think bc youre allllll the way at the last tile. the three tiles marked may seem like its the last three. but its actually 3 out of the last 4 southern tiles. i noticed the same thing until i realized i had the wrong three tiles marked
Man I struggled so hard with this boss and what ended up doing it for me was just calming tf down, enrage phase kicked in and I gave up on all dps just did a couple laps around the arena getting in a hit here and there but all my focus was just on movement and prayer next thing I knew she was dead, I died probably 6 or 7 times in the enrage phase cause I was so focused on trying to get constant hits in, slowing down and playing defensively was 100% what got me my kill for quest.. did it in void with 80 def 88 magic
Anyone struggling with this looking to just get the quest kill. I would not try and pray flick after phase 3 keep protect from range on and just tank the damage. Its your best bet without a doubt.
Just do what I do. Run from one end of the arena to the next. Bring staminas. The tentacles usually don't reach you if you're running in straight lines. You can still get hit, but as long as you did well up to that point, it shouldn't affect your supplies much. Practice this without attacking her. After you get comfortable switching prayers and running, then you can sneak in an attack as soon as you switch prayer. Because her health would be low at that point, you can usually finish this quickly.
I don't seem to understand this strategy. I tried it twice in an attempt to simplify my kills. Both times the pillar attack came from the south side and she occupied the marked tiles.
@@kc-db I figured it out. Appreciate the guide. As a nooby to this, I found it to be harder than just running around. I found if I mis-clicked during this method I'm in melee range and would die. Regardless, I really appreciate the guide and your response, it clearly has helped a lot of people!

By far the simplest solution to that pesky enrage! No need to butterfly with this, thank you - might now start to get consistent kills

the enrage phase just don't work for me, it just keeps sending a tendril straight from the north at the start instead of from the sides

It's way easier just to run in a big circle around her, all you have to do is remember the 2 - 2 prayers.

That's normal for the pillar attack. Check out my other video with a full kill example to see how it works out

I just double checked them, the link is correct. Something is going wrong on your end.

is there a reason why you dont pray augury
Augury had a much higher prayer drain with marginal dps increase at the time. This was before the magic rebalancing

Was this patched? On enrage phase, tendrils are spawning underneath her and hitting all three tiles.
Just went and tested, it's still working the same. Maybe you had a bug or she stopped earlier than she should've.
