Because if Caitlyn of all people can forgive Jinx and trust that she will make the right decision in time for the final battle, then so can Vi Also, Caitlyn freeing Jinx from prison is a reminder of her freeing Vi back when they first met, which tells Vi that despite everything that has happened and changed since then, underneath it all Caitlyn is still that same person who will take a risk and give a second chance to someone she has every reason to distrust or even despise. I think the conversation between Jayce and Mel about her never being a passenger means that she will never be a passenger in life or in anybody's story. Here is my take on Sky. I think it was her essence in his mind that was his moral compass, but now that he chose a different path, she had to leave.

I heard the scene between CaitVi was supposed to go on longer and more passionate, but they had to cut it down to keep the rating lower. Personally I think what they did works just fine for what they wanted to show. If they had made it 4-5 minutes, but didn't extend other parts of the story too, I would have liked it, but it would’ve messed with the flow of the story. Even though I'm all in for this couple, I’d still feel like it didn’t fit with the overall story.

The way I see the Cait and Vi sex scene taking place in a prison cell has more to do with where these two are in their relationship than being purely being a callback to where they first met. Having the love scene take place in the cell helps illustrate that they're so happy to finally love each other that nothing else matters. Not the danky cell or Cait's confession about Maddie. Sure, Cait's bedroom would have likely been more comfortable, but these two were done waiting and so were we.
So... the full version of that scene apparently does exist... in the direct possession of the head of the studio. The trouble is that... the politics around releasing it make an official release of it very unlikely.
I didn't know about the disclaimer, I didn't check. I guess if it hadn't happened yet it would have to happen now. It would just get in the way if they tried to shove it into the final episode. It certainly showed more than I thought Netflix would allow for this. Then again, I recently started another animated series on Netflix that showed way more. Most of the shows I watch don't get that intimate.

Also, the sex scene was apparently going to be even longer...but Netflix told them to dial it down a bit. Which I find ridiculous because, hello, Netflix?? Since when do they shy away from a show keeping heavy sexual scenes? I thought that was one of their selling points for some of their shows?? I hope the DVD for Season 2 will have the original planned extended version attached, that would be such a cool thing to add!

I heard the scene between CaitVi was supposed to go on longer and more passionate, but they had to cut it down to keep the rating lower. Personally I think what they did works just fine for what they wanted to show. If they had made it 4-5 minutes, but didn't extend other parts of the story too, I would have liked it, but it would’ve messed with the flow of the story. Even though I'm all in for this couple, I’d still feel like it didn’t fit with the overall story.

The way I see the Cait and Vi sex scene taking place in a prison cell has more to do with where these two are in their relationship than being purely being a callback to where they first met. Having the love scene take place in the cell helps illustrate that they're so happy to finally love each other that nothing else matters. Not the danky cell or Cait's confession about Maddie. Sure, Cait's bedroom would have likely been more comfortable, but these two were done waiting and so were we.
So... the full version of that scene apparently does exist... in the direct possession of the head of the studio. The trouble is that... the politics around releasing it make an official release of it very unlikely.
I didn't know about the disclaimer, I didn't check. I guess if it hadn't happened yet it would have to happen now. It would just get in the way if they tried to shove it into the final episode.
It certainly showed more than I thought Netflix would allow for this. Then again, I recently started another animated series on Netflix that showed way more. Most of the shows I watch don't get that intimate.
