#10 Boise State vs #19 Utah 2010 MAACO Las Vegas Bowl Highlights

- It wasn't the bowl Boise State wanted to be in, and for the better part of the first half Wednesday night, the Broncos played as if they were thinking about the one that got away. Then Doug Martin raced 84 yards up the middle, and suddenly the MAACO Bowl didn't look so bad after all. Martin shook Boise State out of its brief postseason funk with his long touchdown run midway through the second quarter, and the 10th-ranked Broncos dominated the rest of the way to beat Utah 26-3 in a game that wasn't as close as the final score indicated.

Wow! I forgot about how crazy this game was. 4 turnovers and a blocked field goal plus Brotzman dropping a wide open pass.
Jason Picker this game should have been more of a blowout and it also could have been a lot closer. Weird game.
Was a weird game but still smoked em 😂
Calls BSU a bunch of girls. Gets blown out by them at home. No TDs for Utah.
Honestly I find it interesting that both in this game and the 2006 meeting in Utah, all the U of U managed was a single field goal each time.
Utah wont schedule Bsu anymore even though they are just a drive down the street away. Maybe its the 4 straight beatdowns that scares them
I've said this for 10 years... The team did not need Brotzman's services all year. Even against V tech, he missed some big FG's. The ONE TIME, Boise State needed him to come through, he blows a 24 yd FG. The Broncos needed him ONCE. Then he missed the FG in OT. He had many accomplishments in his career, but his failures in that game is the reason BSU didn't make the big bowl (possibly championship). His legacy will forever be the Nevada game whether you agree or not.
@God Of Death no doubt, Brotzman all time points leader, was an ace in alot of games and threw the fake against TCU in the Fiesta Bowl to set up Martin's TD.
Honestly, I think that is the one area where Boise State has improved over the years. Literally every kicker I have seen since Brotzman has been at least some improvement over him.
@@jesterscorner879except for the 2011 season. Kicker was so bad they had to go for 2 a lot more. One of the reasons that doomed them against TCU. And yes much improvement since then (Hogarth, Sachs, Dalmas)
Glad to see that you can be so positive and uplifting in your attitude and comments.
GIRLY STATE HA HA!!
These 2 teams should be in the same conference and playing every year
The pocket presence and accuracy on the 3rd and 5 play at 11:54. Just wow.
Let fo this again boise state
Yo nice vid
3:45 “that’s what she said”
Imagine with bsu didn’t lose to nevada
If you want to see something fun, go online and see how many times universities in Utah have been beat by Boise State in football. This would include the U of U, BYU, and Utah State.
Probably only 10 times max
always fun to watch the utes get blown out
utah never stood a chance in this game.
Utah was never really in the game.
utah still sucks, and not just the geography. but, in general.
Brotzman could not do anything right. Ever.
I wouldn't say that. He set up the play that led to the winning TD vs TCU in the Fiesta Bowl. That said, he was way too hit and miss in chip shot field goals. Even the ones he made from short range often seemed like they were way too close to the goalpost for comfort.
Moronic comment. He did so much for Boise. The Nevada game was a team loss. Offense couldn’t score all second half and defense gave up a massive lead. And Brotzman also screwed up. But it isn’t solely his fault
@@Mountaindwell4 I agree, you are a moron.
