Next time order a new shaft this is a wear item and it's not technically a new turbo using the stock turbine shaft that is worn groves Into it, makes no sense to put all new stuff with a worn shaft but you can get it close. It's just not going to be what it could be... You could also have upgraded to a 67mm turbine and and basically have a new turbo for about 160 for the housing and shaft.
i hope that i had known this. My local turbo service did not wanted to balance my turbo after they see that i used old shaft. I never going to buy old turbo again, always new. You save tons of money when buying new unit.
That’s a dirty ass bearing housing to be reused like that. You can get a new bearing housing, and new shaft/turbine for about $100. Reuse the compressor housing a compressor if you need to, but those dirty old parts need to be replaced.
Don’t use Pittsburg torque wrenches… finished the job after 20 hours from start to finish and 5 trips to harbor freight only to sheer off the turbine shaft
I really want to do this but all it takes is forgetting one O-ring and it’s a whole job restart. I guess I’ll follow the video step by step
I thought the HE351CW wasn't used until 04.5? Could've sworn my '03 has a HE341
Good job any link on the kit installed?

Do you not have to balance it?

@@AmisCorollado I have to balance it? I'm about to order the kit but have no where to have it balanced
@@diesel961 i mean i think you should balance it. But if you dont have place to balance it, just put it together and it last what it last.
Will a 67mm turbine fit in stock housing ? I’m new to this. A little more details would be helpful
