This looks like a good alternative to using the built in screen, especially on the 5D MK IV (I also own two full frame mirrorless cameras). The screen on the 5D MK IV (as with earlier models) is fixed and cannot be adjusted to facilitate adjustment for easier viewing.
I wish I would have found this guide long ago. I have wasted incredible time on Canon's inept software that keeps us from doing what we should be doing. Thank you.
My iPhone doesn't hold the wi-fi information which means i have to go through the whole process when i want to use this so called feature.All procedures were copied to the letter in your video??
Great video! I've connected fine but the view is very laggy. There is about a 5 second delay on what it shows which makes it kinda useless for what I need. Is there anything I need to change in camera or app to make this better and more responsive? Thanks in advance for any help!

The Canon Camera app does not apear in my Apple Store options, can I get the app somewhere else? How? Thanks for responding.

The bloody software insists me first registering my camera, but refuses to accept my EOS 5D Mark IV. There is no way I can skip that page on my iPhone, to arrive at what you display on this video at 1:23. Please advise me on how to pass this hurdle.

Yes you can share videos Shot from the Canon 5d miv but they must be recorded in MPV @29.95 fps there is a download arrow next to this option. Select this and record your video then view images on camera using canon camera connect app. You video will be there. SIMPLE
Canon YOU MUST MAKE THIS FEATURE a lot more user friendly!!! Make it seamless 5 to 10 mins I lost the shots! Can you push your programmers to pair cameras and phones without doing this loops? And pair phones and cameras seamless 08-2021 ( this feature could be done 2017)
Click on the video and pause it and you can even move the travel button on the bottom of the screen to back the video up or even start over. He mentions that at the start of the video.
All well and good when it works. But it rarely works. The amount of time I’ve sat there waiting with this shitty app unable to connect the camera even though the wifi network is set is ridiculous. Utter Shite.

The password isn’t showing I see encryption and AES and that’s it on my camera
