Hi, am new to this, trying to teach myself, beef up my skills by using one of these books. One possibly silly question, but I noticed the solo (2.30 onwards) is not transcribed in the notation being shown in the video. Is that how it is in the book. What am I missing here. Thanks in advance.

No not missing anything, other than that you're meant to create your own, hence y it isn't written out.
