LOVE LOVE LOVE the ritualized approach you demonstrate when it comes to food and drink, especially coffee. Getting to know the intricacies of Oaxacan foodie culture is a joy to watch through your eyes as you do it with such love and respect for the details. It is especially enjoyable and relaxing with the combination of photography and music. And again, the beauty shines through in the loving attention to detail. Food, coffee, culture = ❤
Amazing! You did such a good job, as usual, and you're editing technique is getting better and better. Thank you beautiful Olivia for sharing this charming moments in your life :)
Absolutely amazing, loved the video from the music selected to the beautiful town and all the wonderful places to eat and dine or just to grab a drink. You really did a great job with this. Thank you for sharing.
Nice vlog. I like the inclusion of your cooking, not using too much narration, and providing a helpful overview of the city center. I plan to visit Oaxaca for my first time and was wondering whether you had lodging suggestions. I will stay for one week.
Thank you so much 🙂 We have booked through Airbnb and always look for superhost and at the reviews. The locations I would recommend are Jalatlaco, Xochimilco, and Centro. I've also heard great things about Grana b&b. Let me know if you have any other questions 💜
Interesting that you would refer to them as "invaders", considering US citizens in Mexico make up 0.13% of the entire population of Mexico. In contrast, Mexican citizens make up 11.2% of the USA's entire population. So who, exactly, is invading whom? And no, I'm not a US citizen, nor do I reside in the USA or Mexico. It's just an observation since I keep seeing these comments about "invaders" on videos like this. Editing to add that I do understand why a lot of Mexican people are unhappy with the large number of people immigrating to Mexico as of late. I understand the completely valid fear of gentrification, and the potential dilution of Mexican culture, out-priced housing and amenities, amongst the tons of other ways in which it could impact life for Mexicans. I am from Canada, where the immigration laws and other stupid policies, (and just plain greed) are posing all kinds of terrible things on the people. I do believe it will continue in both places, however. Canada will continue to allow too many people in, whom we can't house. And people will continue to come to Mexico, from the USA, Canada and beyond, for various reasons, one of which, for Canadians, at least, is because they cannot afford to stay in their own country. So I apologize if my previous comment came off harsh. I do actually understand the sensation of feeling "invaded". It just struck me funny in the context of the USA vs Mexico, since far more Mexicans live in the USA vs US citizens in Mexico. Hard feelings towards US citizens can be understood, since Mexicans have hardly been treated well by that government.
@@jodibraun6383 first of all, there are 11 million Mexicans in u.s. (the rest is from other latin america countries) that's it approx 3% of u.s. population. In the other hand , there are 2 million americans living in Mexico, thats is approx 2% of Mexico's population. From these 2 millions 80% americans here are ILEGALS WITH NO VISA OR EXPIRED VISA . So, get your facts straight before you talk foreigner . You risk to get humiliated again
