Managing Favorite Buttons on Avaya One-X Agent

    I have an odd issue. I created a guide for my co-workers to set these button. There are a few Aux options we regularly use. One of my co-workers does not have any of the Aux options available for him to select in the list for adding a favorite. They are available for him to use from the normal drop down.       Likely there is a difference in Communication Manager user profile. If you need assistance to investigate it recommend to contact your local administrator or you can engage Avaya Support via support.avaya.com.

    Are there hot keys you can set up to transfer or answer or disconnect?

      If you refer to using hotkeys of your PC that functionality is not implemented into the application

    Can you change the way your favorite buttons are displayed on your tool bar?

      You can select from the Favorite Button list the available programmed buttons. If you want different buttons or the way buttons are displayed these can be changed on the Communication Manager side.

    I'm working from home, and setting up Avaya One-X agent on my desk to use with my softphone. When I click User Interface, I can elect all the display settings, however the Select Favorites Button is greyed out. What should I do?

      Likely you don’t have additional custom buttons programmed on your extension, please contact your local administrator to check and program buttons as needed.

    I can't log in using the credentials that I have. what should I do?

    My favorite buttons disappear everyday when I log out. When I login again the next day I have to re-add my favorite buttons. What's going on?

    Hello. Is there any way to rename these buttons on soft phone without having to first do it on a hardphone?

      When one-X Agent registers to the Communication Manager the buttons are sent down to the phone via the Registration Confirm (RCF) message. In case you want to have custom names for One-X Agent buttons you can use abbreviated dialing list. Refer to support.avaya.com/public/index?page=content&id=ADMN111807 for more details

    Do you guys have keyboard shortcuts?

      We don`t use typical keyboard shortcuts in One-X Agent. Touch Tone Shortcuts you can use where you can map telephone numbers to the Touch Tone Shortcuts.

    how to change the AUTO IN into different name

      It is a system button and cannot be changed on application side. You may need to check with your system administrator if you need a custom name.
