I love how when you think you've made a mistake, you are able to go 8n and correct it instead of throwing it in the bin I learn as much from watching you correct mistakes as I do from watching you paint
I couldn’t help but laugh when you said you didn’t have your muse sitting on your shoulder reminding you to not put your tree trunk in the middle of the page. Couldn’t we all use that muse?! 😂 I loved your vibrant colors and often use Quin Magenta in my fall landscapes. Lovely painting. Thanks for sharing!
Very happy to see you again, Jean, with this beautiful and colourful tutorial and your clear and precise comments translated into the language of my country. Give us more great joys like this in the future.
Love to hear your thought process expressed as you are painting. It reminds me of my own inner voice. Thank you again for sharing with us your fun experiment.
Oh, so awesome! Your tips regarding creatively fixing things is exactly what I needed to hear and see. Thank you so much for another wonderful watercolour experience.
Brava, Jean! Lifetimes ago, I used to live in Upstate NY, where we saw magenta, yellow and seina hues all over the ivy covered walls. Yr magenta is on point.
WOW!!! That is gorgeous!! I need to try this. I love the "abstract" or impressions of.... Thank you so much! Lets see what I make. lol. I just subscribed!!
It’s funny, you started out saying you wished to use some different colors than you usually use, then you decided you wished for the usual fall colors. It was very fun to watch this piece come to life. All the different methods demonstrated, I learned so much, I love all the colors and sometimes, especially in fall, I really do look forward to nature’s beautiful display of rich colors, she is hard to beat. I found your choice in colors here, equally as exciting, even once you chose to turn it down a bit. All and all, it was very exciting to watch and I feel I have learned so much and am very happy to have had the experience. Much fun and I thank you so much! 👏👌🙂
Marvelously inspirational....I am traveling in North Carolina, and you've evoked a trip to Michael's for supplies....Autumnal Alchemy by Jean!!! Merci.
