Sir, yes, sir! I was so excited to see a new upload from you. Recent subscriber here. I'm enrolling next month, Reg forces. Your videos have been crucial in me obtaining info for my future adventures. Will update you once I'm done Basic. I hope the family is well. Wishing you the best!
BZ PO and the newest members of the RCN. Enjoy every day, even the hard ones that seem not so much fun or even just..crap. One day you will look back at it all and if like many of us, miss it.
Joining through the NEP this summer. Going to apply at a MetTec possibly in the reserves with an eye on SAR tec, thank you for your service and hope to see you around. Who dares wins.
Hello sir, I was at the recruiting center today and I was given a list of different choices and I chose - Naval war officer -Logistique -Aerospatial control
So sad that they have changed the enrolment ceremonies to virtual now. We were so looking forward to watching our son enrolled in the navy and virtual is just not the same :(
Minister Blair said change should be implemented if not working any more - food and lodging should be tax deductible to the personnel and increase pay grade to increase ( 163 bucks = minimum pay rate 😢) CAF recruitment and participation will increase for sure
That $30billion fixed bid for the FREMM is looking pretty good right now isn't it? Especially with that 1st ship early delivery guarantee we would have had the 1st ship by the end of 2019
I am a Naval Reserve Recruiter for HMCS Chippawa, so I do recruitment for my area. I am happy to provide information or answer questions to the best of my ability regarding CAF recruitment in general.
@@sandymckerchar3287 yes you can appeal. The letter that you received indicating that you were not accepted for medical reasons should have contact information on who to contact to make an appeal. If you don’t have that, contact the recruiting centre you did your medical at and request to make an appeal.
@@PrairieSailor In the Navy I was on (square rig uniform), only beard was approved dress regulation and you had to get your divisional officer permission to be aloud growing one; no moustache were aloud in the Navy. Only Army and Air Force could grow a moustache. Some Scottish regiment though, were aloud to grow beard. Growing beard entered the Forces (all services) after unification in 1970,
Congratulations to all the new reserve recruits.
Bravo Zulu!

Hey there! I got a quick question. So I’m planning to join the RCN reserves at HMCS Discovery. Are trainings hosted there? Or would I have to travel?
This is more than the entire NAVRÉS! Congratulations 🎉 Do you get class A pay when working on your videos or do you do it for free?
Thank you!! Next up, RCN!
Big salute 🇨🇦

Amazing 👏
Do you do recruitment only in your area or across Canada?

@@PrairieSailor Thank you. My case is a bit complicated and wondered if I can reach out by email or phone?
So the CAF turned me down based in medical reasons that I believe to be out dated. Can I appeal this decision? And if so, how?

Sailors with moustache ! Navy is not what it used to be !
Moustaches have been approved is dress regulations for a long time, well before the recent dress regulation updates allowing beards.
