Joey Young Yes
Hey vinai... U rock
What are you too scared to try to be yourself try it sometime
Does it include backing track?
SRV Tuned his Guitar down a half step because it makes the high notes easier on his Voice. Every Guitarist that also sings would benefit from this lower tuning cause they'll have an easier time w/ the high notes.
That’s right ,Also he prefer to use 0.13 gauge strings so this is another reason why he can’t go for standard tuning because the neck will bending so there’s another reason why he tuned down a half step.
It also could have to do with the fact that blues guitar even long before srv was typically played half step down anyways and the fact that the lower tuning allows for less stress on the strings when you do bends so Im pretty sure your comment is irrelevant
@@paultomlin8278 it’s a mixture of both points, hardly an irrelevant comment
Yes I believe Jimmy Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen also tuned their guitars down to E flat as well..
@@Jayvlog34 same tuning
Thumb Down ?? Seriously ???? This cover is better than Paul Gilbert And Martin Miller
I agree
SRV set the bar incredibly high for this and every song he played. You’re no Stevie (no one is), but you sure as hell did him and yourself proud.
i saw the thumbnail and yelled "There is no way this guy has Stevie's Number One with him!"
Excellent playing!
Is not the original, is a serial made guitars in honor of the number 1 of stevie. You can buy one of them on ebay.
Vinai, please make a lesson of this, I’ll buy it in seconds
Killer tone and skills! Greetings from Brazil!
I’d pay good money for the tabs for this, anyone know if there are any?
Now they're available
i didn’t know I needed a 60 FPS guitar cover until I watched this
2:22 ~ 2:27 i like that line!
You made me love my strat more and more , and wanna learn more , and encourage myself to play more. amazing
Bro !!!! You are an absolute BOSS . Fantastic playing my friend . Stevie would be proud .
Hello sir just wanna say you and John mayer is my inspiration Playing guitar, That was so clean playing, I really like it. By the way sir more videos please? I think all of your videos i already watched haha. Thats all sir godbless and thank you for playing. Kept playing sir please your my inspiration playing my guitar.
The guitar tone is just everything I like about guitar. The pure classic Rock and role sound. Ah fuck.
Hiroya Hibino roll
Hiroya Hibino roll
Great playing, but the freaking TONE is what killed me. Sounds more SRV than SRV. Amazing.
Do you have any plans to compile a sheet music of your srv ?
Was SO fortunate to actually watch Stevie play. Unbelievably awesome! He could have commanded the stage by himself. Bonnie Raitt, was there that night too, whoa!
💙
Love Your style. Your finger movements are fantastic. It's like a robotic arm. Awesome!
I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn at the Del Mar Fair in San Diego California in the early 80’s , his first album just came out and he played at the race track about 80 people were watching or talking and smoking cigarettes in the grand stands . And me and my girlfriend and her girlfriend were watching in front of the stage . Along with 40 other people . I’ve been playing guitar since I was 5 years old and I was not even blinking . I had to see everything he did , and I think he noticed that I was one of the few really into him jamming . He looked at me and winked every time he did something like throw his guitar around his shoulder or played behind his back or with his teeth . It cost $2 dollars to go into the fair and see this magnificent man playing his heart out . Then about 3 years later I saw him open up for Huey Lewis and the news at the Irvine Amphitheater in Ca. He finished with Voodoo Child Slight Return 🎸. Then Huey Lewis comes out next playing The Heart of Rock and Roll . Poor concert management because half the audience left and the other half drank and smoked weed . I was in the second half of the crowd .
I would wish youtube add a double thumb to give you another like... 342 thumbs down, I feel pity for people with deafness

Nice change of pace from Master Vinai.. 🙏💙
Great version of this song like how the riffing follows the melody of the song.
Bro tell em how did you cover it? I mean it's so hard to pick each and every detail in the actual song due to the audio quality and not to mention it was at such a fast paced tempo with so many intricate details. how did you even hear all that nuances? did you use audio slowdown or something but yet in that case also it would further distort and deteriorate the audio Brother how? that's what I am thinking.
I would say it’s experience
Ridiculous dude
Great playing, tone was hot and the guitar...sick
I don’t play anymore b/c of neuropathy. Great job. This is a song I would play and play and play hoping to play it live in a band. I got to where I thought I had it nailed, grabbed my axe and went to open mike night. My turn with the house bans came up. You get three songs. I started with ‘Damn Right I got The Blues’ by Buddy Guy. We quickly got the groove going and I felt I really rocked that one. The bass, drummer, keyboard, and horn really had it going on and I thought, “okay, I got this,’ and changed the second song to ‘Supperstition.” Man, did I ever fuck it up! Yikes! I tried a couple other nights with results that were no better than the first. That song completely defeated me and each time left me embarrassed and humiliated. It’s one of those songs where you die if you don’t try and you die if you do. 🤣🤣😂😂 Great job, man.
💙💙🙏🏻
I just want to know the funky main riff
This video proves it doesn't matter which instrument you chose to express a musical idea.
💙
I was Stevie Live and whole place and every one in it ROCKED , I mean ROCKED !!!!!!!!! I watched a guy carrying 2 beers walking along body bobbing up and down and beer spilling out every where AND HE DIDN'T CARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody's a Critic I thought it sounded great takes a lot of practice good job brother....
🙏🏻
An incredible job recreating a legends playing style. No one can or will ever play exactly like SRV but you did him justice with this cover.
The playing is great but I would like to hear more chiming strat tone.
Tab!!! TAAAAAABBBbS please.
That toneeeeeeeeeeeeee
You're a phenomenal guitar player...you don't miss a note within the progression.
You leave me on the cusp of inspiration and intimidation.
Well said
Wow so nice. Despite the obviously wonderful solos you pulled off, the rhythm part is insanely good. You merged some of the keyboard fill into the strumming, making it more sophisticated, yet retaining the feeling of the original version. I had a really good time listening to your cover and figuring out your arrangement. Hats off.
Oh yeah fantastic interpretation. A little lesson on your version of the main riff would be amazing! So funky.
Steive ray Vinai T. You r the SRV
Super slick version Mr T! You have some truly great expression in your playing. I love the glasses slip as well lol. I wish i could buy a lot of your covers to put on my iPhone/iPad while I’m driving.
I'm a simple man, I see it's from Vinai, I click thumb up. By the way is the rig strung with 13's?
freezaxp Its 10-46
Had the fight the jealousy off watching this! Bloody Bravo!
You and me both Kev! I'm amazed yet so jealous at the same time.
Love seeing those hard bends and gauge strings
Absolutely amazing guitar playing this guy should start a Stevie Ray Vaughan cover band
next time,SRV- riviera paradise 😎
This is killer, man. Don't mind the haters. Use them as elevators. 👊🏼🎸🔥
I WANT that fucking guitar!
This is FREAKING GOOD !!!
Amazing! Stevie would be proud! Keep on rockin bro
Joe Walsh says he can tell a good player by their right hand, not their left. This guy's right hand is darn near effortless.
Steve Parton yep I’ve been playing for ages and am just figuring this out, oh well get to work now..
The right hand is fondamental to play funky
Don't pay attention to the trolls. Their insecurities are obvious to everyone. That is a fantastic rendition! Thank you. I just subscribed (they probably did, too)
Wow that vibrato in the solo was amazing. This blew my mind.
superstitious watching this at 636,666 views ...
💙
Wow man that was incredible! Your version of superstition with srv flavour!! Dude you nailed it!!!
Well done. That song is more complicated than it sounds. Intricacies fully caught here bro. Well done.
Stevie Ray Vaughan forever❤
BAD ASS..................THANKS
Mind ..... fucking......... blown.......... 😳
Got those goosebumps right at the end. And that's sayin something. Only SRV gives goosebumps. Not too shabby....
It couldn't be better than this~!
How in the holy fuck did you manage to buy that guitar don't replicas cost millions? Gotta hand it to you though. You deserve it. 🤘🏼
Usually retails for 437 million I think
Yup! Millions!
Millions?? What drugs are you on?
Sarcasm 69 ,it's an anti covidstemine
Squidward’s House The real price is around 500.000 $: really expensive though
Isn't she lovely pls
Such a horrible song.
Joe P ya dont have kids, do u? 😂
Joe P Do you even know the meaning to the lyrics Stevie Wonder wrote and why ? I guess it’s all subjective, but at least try to understand the meaning of the song, before you say it is a horrible song .
@@mauricebrown9183 Ok, I admit...until now, I did not know the lyrics other than Isn't She Lovely. Well written song and I can appreciate the lyrics and their meaning. I just find most Stevie Wonder songs to be extremely annoying and hard to listen to. This song is at the top of that list for me.
A lot of jealousy in the comments section. Lmfao. Like seriously, dude can fuckin play. Srv relic is probably the best I've seen
Ol boy can sure carry a TUNE
MR.SRV would be proud!
He was "taken" away to early, the man, his music and what he (SRV) could do with a guitar, will go on forever. Go Stevie you be "sittin with the man".......!!
Holee shitballs that was epic
Hi Vinai. That's great playing and tone!!! Do you mind sharing your signal chain and your Line 6 Helix patch?
ridiculously funky man ngl
I like to listen music of Stevi Ray Vaughan from Jalisco México pride and joy.🎸🎸🎸
Hey man great cover. 100% not the way Stevie Ray plays it (he plays a much simpler version) but absolutely amazing cover I dig it.
I mean that went without saying but there’s always that one person..
Remember to wear red boots while playing this song 😉
Put the trem bar back in it hurts.
Sounds dope tho!
okay stevie thats enough now show your face?
2:22 wow. Just wow
This groove is hypnotic 🤪🤪🤪 GREAT RIFFS GREAT PLAYING !!! thanks for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
Subscribed, nothing to say.
You are definitely sick man!!! :)
2019
Is this recorded by one man only playing and
layering all instruments, including vocals???
A W E S O M E !
Thelonious Coltrane this is a cover. He’s playing Stevie Ray Vaughan’s version of Superstition.
@@robertwellington2616 Do you know the answer to Thelonious Coltrane's question? I'm curious as well.
No. He bought a backing track with all the instrumentation minus guitar and he provides the link to it in itunes in the description
This is brilliant, thank you for this. 🤙
Nailed the tone
Khun Vinai, if you were with Jimi H, he would be still alive as a famous singer without playing his lead guitar 555 I believe it.
That guitar looks really legit.
Guitar playing like a fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
What i'm say is.. i'm YES 💯✅
Best cover~
You should do a breakdown lesson, I know you have tabs but this lesson would be the best on RUclips, great playing 👍
👍🏻
Tab ?
Very nice, make both Stevies proud….
Cover rude mood. I dare you.
Srv is just coming from heaven to meet you he said that how can someone cover his song like this !
Insane man 🙏🏻 🎸🙏🏻
Fantastic cover! Well done!!
I really enjoyed that!!! I think that I will watch it again😊👍.
Stevie you alive...?
This might be my favorite cover ever ! Amazing work, fantastic sound. Solos are out of this world. RIP SRV. Keep up the good work.
🙏🏻
souperstitious
Why is SRV's head cut off in this video?
If I had even an ukulele I'd be Rockin' that out
💙
YEAHHHH !!! Absolutely great , thanks !!!
Perfect 💥👌🏼
Daaaaaaaaamn dude! That was some impressive guitar playing!
