I have one of these dipods. And mine has a lot of wobble in it where the bipod Engages the bracket. Spoke to Spartan a couple of times, they sent me another one exactly the same way.
Do you have a preference between the Pro and Lite? I have a Weatherby Vanguard B'country 6.5CM and am looking for a solid bipod for when I can't use my shooting sticks. Also, what are you thoughts about length for the Lite? I'm 6'2" and think the Long would be best.
I carry the Pro more simply because it’s more compact and I have it. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up just the Lite to save 50% on cost, though. The Standard Lite is easy enough to pack in a convenient place for rapid deployment, but the Long could be beneficial. It really depends on where/how you hunt. I wouldn’t go shorter than the Standard, though.
@@geargoggles4610 Thanks and sorry for the late response. I like the extra height of the Long Pro for getting a better sight picture and being more comfortable behind the gun. Guess I’ll just have to try it and see how it works!
Thank you for the comparison between those two models. It answered a few questions I had!
Which one do you recommend for my .308 ?
