Hello! My family and I moved to Ottawa from Missouri, US in July of 2022. One of the reasons for choosing Ottawa and our neighborhood (Bel Air Heights/St.Claire Gardens) was based on videos I watched on your channel. Always great info. Thanks!
Thanks Peter; very informative video. Would have been nice if showed the location of these neighbourhoods on the Ottawa map as you presented them. Question: which neighborhood/neighborhoods are located between the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College with good public transportation to both locations?
Hello Ahmad. That’s a wide stretch of land between those two pints. Check out Centrepointe and Iris Ridgeview for access to transportation. Bel Air Heights has some great mid-century homes near there. There are plenty of options but I would have to know more about your budget and personal requirements. If you are looking to buy you can always reach out to me at admin@living-inottawa.ca and we can discuss the search in more detail. Best.
Agree with you on the areas not mentioned. Westboro/Old Ottawa South etc. Do you have any videos on these neighbourhoods by chance? I'd like to check them out. Thanks Peter.
Thank you Mark! I do have a few covering some of the areas. Still have some neighbourhoods to cover. Check out the playlist on the channel titled ‘Ottawa Neighbourhood Vlog Tours’ for more. Cheers.

It is family friendly - the area has a cycle of older families downsizing and newer families moving in

Wat about Findlay Creek
Findlay Creek is a good area as well for families. More limited access to services but it is growing.
How about Barrhaven 🙂
Barrhaven is great for families as well. Great schools, great family orientated. I was working from the list from rentals.ca for this video.
