Sorry to hear that! The new Childcare program that provides subsidized childcare to all families just kicked off in Canada this year though.

    Hello, nice content. Very informative.
What do you think about a salary of 140,000 CAD? Only the husband has a job and they have got 3 kids.
Will such a single salary be sufficient? The wife will look for a job as well.
    Location is Oshawa.

Hi, we are a family of four, children are within the age of 3 and less than a year old. My husband wants to apply for study visa so we all can come to Canada. But we think it will be really difficult with the finances because I don't know if I will be able to work because of our children. And his studies my not let him enough time to work, to pay his school fees and other house hold expenses. I need some one With experience to tell me how things can work for a family of four With study visa in Canada

      Hi Ruth,
Apologies for the late reply. Having 2 kids that are not of school age can make things a bit tough, but in order to support the whole family, at least 1 person would have to be able to work full time.
You may also need to factor in the need and cost of child care, which can be significant.
