Jimmy Butler is known to be a lot of things...a hard-worker, an incredible athlete, and sometimes...a drama queen. Since leaving the Bulls, he couldn't find a stable home in the NBA. A short stint with the Wolves and Sixers didn't suit him very well, but with Miami - it looks like he found a home. Hope you enjoy the video!

@@guesswhonot1620 no... raptors were really limited on half court with siakam is playing as bad as he been. But Heat is much more talented offensive them then raptors, and a better defensive one...
@jelly bean regular season records don't mean jack shit in the post season otherwise Bucks would still be in the playoffs
The Heat is all about culture, discipline, hard work. Jimmy came from nothing and worked his tail off. Heck his coach had the same story, starting from the film room. This is a match made in heaven!
People forget that him going to the Timberwolves AND the 76ers wasn't his decision. I didn't think the heat would hoop like this, but I was supportive considering the impact he had on the T-Wolves. This isn't a revival, this is a testament to his resolve
@@seanblaze4788 you 100% nailed it
1:10 Jesus that’s a big word boiii
Sean Blaze sane. I really didn’t think the heat would be hoopin, hoopin, this year like that lol but I always knew Jimmy was legit.
Sean Blaze its Miami we different down here
Jimmy Buckets goes far beyond his talent. We needed him in Miami to be a star as a leader more than a player. His work ethic is infectious.
Yeah everybody was hating on him but he fits perfectly in Miami. The whole roster has a dog mentality just like him, thats why he loving his teammates rn.
You make DBZ vids lol
I was so sad when he left philly, but he left for greener pastures and no one can blame him.
He wasn't only a fantastic player, but he was great for the community as a whole.
You perfectly spoke the truth.
when he's with Minnesota and Philadelphia all of he's teammates didn't compliment each other. Feels like he's going all out night in and night out however he's teammates don't . that's why he became an outcast. then Come Miami all of them are dogs and wanted to win whatever it takes that's why he fits in
The problem with the current culture in sports is that if somebody isn't scoring the highest points or they're not a media darling they've somehow either fallen off, overrated or non conducive to winning. Miami has everything to do with culture, if you look at their teams over the course of the past 20 years they've always had gritty blue collar, hard-working guys who are all willing to get dirty while pouring out MAXIMUM EFFORT. That's literally all Miami stands for... EFFORT.
Nearly everybody overlooked Miami except real Heat fans; too often do people get lost in the bright lights & forget the core to winning basketball. That's TEAM basketball & miami's team philosophy is just that. They'll be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
Chiseled preaching !!!!
@Chiseled Adonis what's upsetting to me is that even Shaq doesn't believe Miami has what it takes to win with fat lazy ass and I'm pretty sure when he wanted to leave Kobe he saw Miami's culture back then and that was the only way he was going to win another championship without Kobe to prove and legitimize his legacy with a young Wade and Miami culture but when you listen to him he's making people doubt. Actually, none of them still believe Miami will be in the finals other than Kendrick Perkins. That's real brah
Kenji Colin why shaq gotta be all that 😂😂😂😭😭
@@Nationof300 you know he shaqctin a fool just a big meathead 😆
People who listen to medias and let media influence their opinion are not true NBA fans.
“Off the court antics”? You mean demanding more of his teammates & pointing out when they’re not up to par?
Remind me of somebody starring on the last dance...
just observing the media does so much mental acrobatics to act like he's not allowed to be that competitive because he's not MJ or Kobe
@@justobserving7045 Jerry Krause?

As a Bulls fan, Jimmy has always been that guy. He's always instantly elevated the teams he plays on and brings a no-bullshit culture singlehandedly. He plays to win, and I hope the Heat can pull off the impossible and go all the way so he gets a ring.
Close, but no after game cigar.
As a Heat fan, I always admired Jimmy ever since he was on the Bulls especially after knowing his life story. He always reminded me of Wade with his Playoff performances and play style with the finishing and mid-range jumpers. Him coming to the Heat, because he was inspired by Wade, brought nothing but excitement to me for this season’s Miami Heat team. Whether they reach the Finals or not, I already consider them successful because no one expected them to come this far especially the “analysts” who thought he only wanted the warm weather and lifestyle and not to win.
Salute to Pat Riley and Wade for bringing Jimmy to South Beach. The Culture only gets better every year, hopefully the trophy comes back to Biscayne Boulevard soon because of this man. Bad teammate and locker room cancer my ass.
Same
Yup I love Jimmy
I want him back on the bulls ): we never gonna make the playoffs
Hexical Cat I have high hopes for the Bulls especially that they’re under new management and soon, coaching. Keep your head up, you guys will be back.
Soft guys and weak minded fellows may think that a rough around the edges guy who values high effort and a winning mentality as maybe "mean", or even maybe they'd consider him "locker room cancer". Jimmy was probably trying to bust asses in those Minnesota and Philly locker rooms, but those boys don't understand what it means to really win and couldn't take it. Jimmy has a solid group of guys who think this way now, due in part to those Miami Heat traditions for effort and camaraderie.
According to JJ Reddick's podcast, Jimmy didn't like how disorganized the Philly management was. Hope that provides some context for those wondering why he left
It does, thank you
Philly should have kept bryan colangelo
Yes. I saw that interview and really understood his reasons. He just wanted to be part of the right culture.
Exactly! That whole story about the film session was mind blowing. So much at stake and they aren’t taking shit serious. He’s actually the main reason they even made it to game 7. Was the only star on the 76ers embracing the moment, except Joel when he was crying after gm 7 😂
Sam Fernandez loyalty to franchises that weren’t dedicated to winning? He literally said one of his first weeks in Philly, they watched film and nobody said a word... fuck would I play wit a team like that? Everybody not just playing ball for money, my guy. TWolves been ass ever since, Bulls been ass ever since and Philly on the verge of self destruction so you tell me if he just complaining

He was a great contributor to those Miami Heat and Hornets teams
Doc Cholo y’all got that Andy hoops grammar , lmao
Jimmy has the mentality of Jordan nd Kobe but he isn't the star they were. His is a work dog and will do anything to get to the post season. He needs a good coach (which he has is Spo) and a good support crew (the one in Miami is a good cast). This is Jimmy's perfect scenario to shine
Ummmm not saying Jimmy Butler is on the same level as Jordan or Kobe but Jordan and Kobe needed the same stuff lmao
Basketball is a team sport, Jordan and Kobe didn't win their rings 1 vs 5
@@ericsmusic5927 I meant to say was he isn't as talented as those two were. Yes he hasn't had that Scottie Pippen or Shaq to surround him Miami is probably the best place to get them
@@nithilanamudhan6260 I know that is what you meant. You made it obvious, I was correcting the rest of the dumb shit you wrote
That’s what I have been saying this whole time. Jimmy has the personality of MJ and Kobe the only difference was people liked them more. I promise you if MJ or Kobe did what Jimmy did in Minnesota we would’ve been talking about how they were GOATS for that.
Jimmy is a star he just didn’t have mj ir kobe level of skill but he’s a great ass player
What Jimmy's whole saga has told me is that the league has indeed turned soft. Jimmy's attitude is the right one for winning, which is proven by how teams with soft players (Minnesota) and soft management (Philly) flopped after he left them.
I agree
THANK YOU, all Jimmy wants is to play basketball and compete, not his fault he wants to be somewhere that gives him a chance at the title
wayy too soft they've got no heart and no grit to play with heart. if you wanna win you have to have culture and now just super stars
Agreed, the league is probably the most talented it’s ever been but talent gets u nowhere without hard work and grit
Not the league, it's the country. Ppl now have glass made hearts. Any tiny upset breaks them down.
Jimmy just had to have a good coach that would let him just be him with out the bull shit . N it happen in Miami
Heat or celtics winning?
Heat. Spoelstra is a much better coach than Brad Stevens.
During the Bucks vs Heat playoffs series the Bucks turn into their 15 win season form

Explain how he’s “fallen off”? This is stupid, this whole time I’ve seen Butler the same way I do now, the video isn’t stupid, the narrative is
He hasn't. His stats are consistent and his efficiency is better than other stars like Harden, Westbrook but he just doesn't lead by putting up big stats. Most "analysts" measure a guys' progress to stardom by how much of a jump he makes in points, but Jimmy doesn't care about that. He cares about his team performing, so his season stats will never blow you away.
He never fell off, but he did become a better leader and definitely deserves more recognition as a star. It was hard seeing him traded from the Bulls but glad hes not still wasting away with that horrible front office.
Facts he's never fallen off 💯

for Anyone that actually watched the pacer series, while it was 4-0. every game was a tough game, that series was harder than the bucks series in my eyes.
I Agree
Nah. Miami always play bad or decent against teams below their level. They were a different team against the bucks compared when they were against the pacers. They also have the best record against the top teams in the east.
My hometown BULLS also known as the Chicago" organizations win championships" drafted Butler I knew he was a beast back then but as usual management tried to low ball him and he eventually left.
I hated seeing him traded, but we all know he was rotting away in Chicago with that front office and coaching staff.
I knew he had it in him when I saw him take over down the stretch in a pre season game vs the hawks, and hit the game winner. Right then and there I knew the bulls had their complementary all-star to D-rose. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because Dumb and Dumber fired Thibs and brought in one of the softest coaches ever.
@@holliday72889 its sad. same thing happening right now to markkanen n some of the others. guy would be way better by now in a system like dallas
@@jekkt *cough Zach Lavine *cough
@@jekkt Yep, anyone who goes to Chicago right now is in basketball purgatory and they never recognize talent, for example Spencer Dinwiddie would've been a nice and cheap contract. You would think Spencer played bad to be waived 2 times, but he was 19-8 and 3 with the D-League team.

I personally see the heat beating the Celtics in the CF and giving whoever they face in the finals a tough machup. Certianly a possible championship in the future because of free agency.
Jason Tatum is great and maybe more talented, gifted than Jimmy, but i have this feeling that Jimmy’s hard work will just eat Tatum alive. Miami vs Boston, this is gon be classic. Heat in 5!!!
Heat in 6 maybe 7 if Tatum goe mamba mode
I hope needed free agency doesn't look at this season as a fluke
Celtics in 6 mark my words
The Heat have built a very talented and versatile team. Coach Spoelstra is underrated, he lives in the shadow of the Big 3 super team.
I like both the celtics and heat. They are playing in the ECF. It's really hard to choose a side because they are both my favorites team before Jimmy. Hope one of them wins the Finals.
Same
Props to Spoelstra too because he is a coach that CAN and WILL fit a superstar (even a bunch of them) into his system and make it work.
In JJ Reddick podcast Jimmy said that he left because it was never clear who was in charge, and he didn't like that (also, he didn't want to establish himself as a "leader"), and later, after the playoffs the organization had doubts if they "can control him", coach said that he didn't know and when Jimmy heard that, he view that he wouldn't stay, and if he did, that probably would not work
Definitely coming back in a week or so to laugh at you 😂😂 #HeatCulture #MiamiIn7

Chill Klay a dog just like Jimmy.
@@JMV0711 that's a biased opinion because Klay has never been in that position to. But for the one stint where he had to lead the team when steph got hurt in the beginning of the playoffs in the 2015-2016 he absolutely showed up and performed for the team. Leadership can take many forms

As a lakers fan it’s gonna be pretty fun being able to root for two teams at the same time
I’ve followed Butler his entire career and I’ve never seen a player improve so much over his career. He consistently exceeds expectations. However, in the past he often entered the playoffs banged up. This unusual year, with the long pandemic shut down, allowed him to finally enter the playoffs at his physical best. The thing is, he still has the mentality of a role player who only dominates scoring when the other team fails to respect his offense. If they double team him he will pass to the open man. If someone else has a better match up he will set his teammate up for success. He knows what it’s like to be the fourth option because he’s been there. M

I knew Miami organizational culture had to do with the decission, Pat Riley and coach Spoelstra are some of the most disciplined and intelligent people in this game and adding a leader like Butler that meant great results without big names nor huge expectations, sometimes U.S. fans and analysts are too obsessed with superstars however Miami is proving that real team work can give you wins too. Basically at one point in time he heard that there were people in the front office asking (someone) about him "can you control him?" and he answered "nah, I'm cool, cause I don't do anything drastically f*cking stupid (...).
