- This is the second of two videos where I give the necessary instruction and steps to make anj emerging bowl. This not a hard project to make, the method I have developed make it much easier than other videos I have watched.
hi, nice job, I have seen other videos on the same subject, but your way of holding the job is much better, I will look forward to having a go myself. keep up the good work JB
Thanks for your fantastic engineering and explanation Brian. I am about to put your method to the test, however I suggest the following: - use hotmelt glue instead of screws to fix it to the base. Also, when it is centred on the face plate, hotmelt it to the plate. . When the glue is set, remove it and put in your screws. That should be totally accurate.
Very enjoyable and instructive, thank you Brian.
Nice series, Brian. There's some really good tips in these.
Very good video. I particularly liked your attention to detail. Thanks
I like it and very good planning.
Cheers,
Lee
Very good method Brian, I'll give it a try and with ýour detailed explanation I expect to do very well first time. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your method. Some very useful tips there which I'lll be tryng out in the near future.
Another great idea! Being fairly new to woodturning, I've not seen this before. When I have a little more confidence, I may have a go myself. Thanks for your demonstration.
They turned out very nice! Will have to give it a try myself now.
I tried making one from another video. I didn't have it centered properly when I hollowed the bowl, so I had uneven rim. Will be trying your way, hopefully I will have better luck. Thanks for the tips Brian.
Thanks for the comment, let me know it you have better success. The way ||I did it was quite easy and i had good success the first time.
After watching hours and hours of your videos, I wonder is there any complex geometry you cannot/have not made? Tetrahedrons etc?
