Dare I say - level one was actually well-designed hot garbage. There was narrative and anticipation with the pick-a-paths. Sections like the conveyer pushing against the player weren't brutally long. It also wasn't the way overdone trope of endless 50-50 gotchas. Just an old-fashioned semi-obnoxious elements, some decent actual platforming obstacles, and that one spiny conveyer loop machine was just flat out cool and creative.
