World Class Hernan Crespo..Great header of the ball and the goal at Wigan says it all..Loaned out while at Chelsea and had to compete with Hasselbaink,Gudjohnson,Mutu,Kezman,then Drogba for a place in the side..Not easy when only 1 striker was being played..But scored and created goals when needed..Thank you Hernan.💪
What strikers we had! Crespo, Drogba...The so called marquee signings that we have now have showed nothing special...Hope we will land a good striker soon!
Top top striker. He was probly at his best at parma and inter Milan. I don't think mouriniho wanted him similar to Shevchenko. How could you not want those 2 playing for you
As much as I repsect Mourinho, his treatment to Crespo and Shevchenko was horrible. He dropped Crespo multiple times in Inter and removed him from UCL squad and putting Shevchenko as a Winger/Wide Midfielder and benched him after he returned from hernia surgery
Loved watching Crespo. Still one of my favourite players after all these years.
