Thank you for the comment. Some youth are watching and coming back to thank us for inspiring them to buy land and start building. All hope is not lost.
@AfricaBuildingHub Generally, people will become tough through the changing events of their lives, but to build in Ghana automatically makes you tough no matter what. If you are not tough/determined, you cannot finish anything
💯 percent. It exposed your vulnerability and how firm you can stand. I have gain experience and now know what to avoid or add. But my hair started going grey soon as I started with my project😂
@@AfricaBuildingHub because, l don’t know the kind of materials the seller used in building that particular house, but when am building, l will definitely choose good quality materials for my house
How long is the mortgage period in Ghana? Buying a house if you have the whole amount and doing your due diligence is very good but if a mortgage takes 20-30 years, I'll say it is not worth it. With amortization, you'll have paid for the house 3 times before you actually finish paying it because the first few years is spent paying the interest only anyways. With building, you can decide to put a 2-bedroom to stay in, like your friend Ismael, and grown from there. You also learn a lot about yourself while building and can simply correct the mistakes you make during the process, developers on the other hand can cover up visible mistakes because of the cost involved
I'm about to purchase a 70x100 plot in Ghana, then build a two bedroom home from the same company offering the land. It will take them about a year to build. I would buy a home but it's simply too much..
Hi I'm interested in buying land and I'm visiting Ghana in September. Do you know of anyone selling land and can you send me your details so I can contact you

Building makes you tougher ... Buying doesn't make you tough
Not everyone wants to be tough ooo

Either option works. It depends on the individual , their resources in time, money and knowledge.
Which would you prefer?
@@AfricaBuildingHub Personally I would like to build a custom home that reflects my needs and preferences.
I will prefer to build instead of buying🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Why???

Build as you get what you most likely require. Way way cheaper too.
Thanks for your response

Hello I live in Sogakope Volta Region. PLease what area is the land available? I'm interested in building.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts
It seems houses are overpriced in GHANA
True
Lol you decide to buy and the mortgage interest alone in gh would let you know it’s not worth it
Is it that bad?
