Its really not fair that Meek has been on probation for around 10 years because of one charge when he was 18. That judge has dragged his probation out and put him in prison for popping a wheelie on a dirt bike. His whole adult life has been controlled by the court system and will be until 2023. That is complete injustice. Something needs to change.
Meek Mill had times where his probation was reduced. A few years back he had 8 months left and violated and went back to jail. Meek has done a lot of this to himself!
Which is why they say "put him on probation, lock him up because he isn't perfect." His point is that a lot of reprimanded men who are long beyond their old ways and are able to contribute to society could have their lives bound to these court systems for decades, with no chance to remove their parole and prove that they can contribute to society. A mistake that YOU could make and get a slap on the wrist can land them back into jail for 20 years. The idea is to give men of his demographic an "invisible leash," a way to keep them disadvantaged.

Dave East is Lyrical but you can tell he doesn’t really have much of a story to tell. He played ball, started rapping and realized he could do that too. He wasn’t a drug dealer, there wasn’t much of a struggle so he raps about how he can stunt now and most people can’t relate to that.
