I have first hand information about the "mental stop loss" not working and have blown a live funded trading account in about 1 minute. When you think it "has to reverse" it certainly doesn't have to. Adding to a losing position is another fatal mistake I have made many times. It is eye opening to realize while fighting to make a trade work, you could have simply taken the stop and hop on in the right direction. ***after confirmation. New trader here. I appreciate this video. Just three months in and this has been my downfall, the mental stop loss. So now, I'm using a stop loss from here on out. The hard thing I think is for new people is when you set stop loss your saying im willing to lose this and that can be hard to accept. But I rather lose a small amount than be wiped out.
You hit me different once you said don’t trade all day long. Me and my girlfriend had a conversation about this the other day, it’s best to get in a few great value trades in begging of the trading day and go on with your day with profits instead of trying to going to home runs!

BONUS LESSON: You are not as brillant as you think you are. You WILL not outsmart everyone else every single day. Don´t let overconfidence for a few successful trades blind you to being humble and bend your own rules.

@@misterjay4347 hey brotha i started with 200 dollars..and eventhough i made some losses the past 2 days lets say about 40dollars total..im still at 58 dollars profit...u caan start with a hundred dollars but u need to be patient and be happy and dont think to get rich...because per trade i make about between 1 dollar and 3 dollars profit...which if done 4 times a day in a month is good money...so yeh my advice is to start with 200dollars but 100 is fine...and work with small lotsizes

I have been trading forex for a year and a half now, i watched tons of videos about forex beginner mistakes but i made them anyway and i still make some but you can reduce mistakes after finding a strategy and building discipline to follow your trading plan, i have just turned consistent for about 5 months now and I’m still learning to increase my knowledge of the market, having loses doesn’t mean your strategy doesn’t work you can have a low win rate and have a better risk to reward ratio

My biggest blessing in disguise is that I got into the market a few months ago without any money to actually put into the market. All I’ve done is watch and learn, and it’s made me so much more comfortable when I can finally put some money in and put my knowledge and research to the test

hey im new to the channel< i was wondering what you trade, because im confused on what you invest. lets say 200 dollars and double ot triple it. when i trade 200 dollars will only buy like 5 shares.
