    Haydn's piano trios rank with his string quartets and symphonies as his finest achievements. And this one (particularly the Allemande) is among his finest inspirations.

      Haydn’s list of ‘…finest achievements’ is rather more lengthy than your comment suggests.
      The Allemande you rightly highlight, is a fantastic, catchy and memorable romp; it’s special.
