I bought this weedeater last year and it worked great all summer. I stored it for winter and pulled it out 2 weeks ago and charged the battery. Works great. But when I inserted the battery into the weedeater, nothing happens. No sound, no movement, nothing. What could be wrong with the weedeater? I need help on this as I have never had one to do this before.

I just got the same trimmer. My line keeps breaking off and the end isn't sticking out of the hole anymore. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? I can't get the line to advance at all. There are all these little notches on the line holder but I can't find instructions for what to do with the line.

Mine has same problem. Works for two minutes, string seems to be advancing. But then eventually string gets short and disappears inside spool, doesn’t stick out of hole anymore. I take it apart, string is loose inside spool. I rewind it, stick it through hole, reassemble and it works for 1 minute, and then string vanishes inside hole again. Repeat repeat repeat. Root of problem seems that string gets too short. Don’t know what to do.

It appears you used the battery in the trimmer then used it in the blower without recharging it. the battery does slow down a little with use, that is why I have 2 batteries, the blower may do better with a fresh battery, when trimming my lawn at about three quarters of the lawn the trimmer has slowed down a bit then it will stop, that is when I pull out the fresh battery and it spins at top speed again. I do not try to cut trees with my trimmer, I just use it to take care of the areas the riding mower can't get into.
