Nice shot. I've been trying the corner version of this type of shot. Hitting both points to make the cue go 90 degrees to hit a ball in the right or left hand corner. Haven't made it yet. LOL
I once saw a guy playing bankpool bank the ball off the top side point, back to the bottom rail, into the opposite side pocket.. Called it, of course, 2 rails in the side.. Dude’s road hustle was to give 6-5 to any bankpool champion that stepped up.. lol..
Sorry, you explained that you need to find that sweet spot on the corner but didn't really say where to try to hit...like if I'm looking at the pocket, am I trying to hit the very tip of that bumper or a little more towards the inside of the pocket???
Straight on the point will bring it straight back where he shot from. Aim slightly right of the point with a tip of top spin🎉 to make that shot. Hope this helps.
Try it until you figure it out. It's going to be different on different tables. I almost always use top spin on these types of titty shots too. Doesn't really matter where the balls lay. Adjust as necessary.
I imagine that the point of the pocket is a cue striking the cueball. You can go about anywhere from there. Draw a line from the point to the aiming point on the object ball. That line should cut the cueball perfectly in half when it makes contact with the rail.
that type of shots can be done 3/10 on your table but they become 1/50 on a random table. Practice more kick shots if you play on tournaments. Those "smart" type of shots are not very helpfull and you will rarely see them played by top players....
