Arrived here after checking out Bluepoint's Wikipedia page (after the release of Demon's Souls). Wanted to see what else they'd worked on in the past. These guys are miracle workers!
As someone who has this maxed out on PC I can't believe how great this Xbox 360 version looks. Looks decent and gameplay appears to be completely intact.
I feel bad for people who just bought the Xbox One just for Titanfall. The smart people got this for PC or for $500 cheaper on the 360. There is no real reason to get an Xbox one or a PS4 till this fall.
Titanfall on the 360 runs at 600p. Titanfall on XBONE runs at 792p, and is planned to be updated to 900p. Titanfall on the 360 runs around 47fps, and the ONE version runs at 60fps. And the textures have taken at hit on the 360 version as well.
dont lie to yourself. the xbox one version does not run at a constant 60 frames like call of duty. the amount of screen tearing and frame rate drops in that game is awful.
EPiiCx5587 the 360 version 'hovers' around there at times as well. the difference between the 2 versions isn't as big as it should be - considering the 360 came out in 2005

it is demanding, but it shouldn´t be. it runs on source engine and it looks like a cod game. the game needs better optimization, but respawn is a small team, they did their best. titanfall 2 will be better since the team will be bigger.

I must say for a late 360 port and framerate is ok and no screen taring (note: video might tare but thats because of capturing and youtube) is not that bad at all good job blueprints, 360 owners im proud that you guys are getting a good port and enjoying the game aswell. ; )

Not really. They did a good job porting it over to the XBO. Titanfall was being made for the 360 initially. They then switched gears and began to refine the XBO version so MS had a casual shooter to appeal to casual gamers, hence increasing sales.

this game is practically flawless on 360 compared to other shooters on 360 rare frame drops no lagging smooth gameplay and I have played the one version and obviously I can't say I prefer 360 but as someone who plays video games 9 hours a day and who wants a future in it titanfall is amazing on 360
I got it last night, put in about 3 hours. It's perfectly fine and all in all a really fun game. The gameplay is smooth and identical to the X1. The graphics are not. But personally I can overlook that for the great gameplay that this offers. The push back was a ploy to sell more Xbones, I'm sure of it. There's no way that Respawn would have developed this game in an attempt to exclude 360 users. They have a lot riding on this and needed to sell a shit ton of copies AND make a killer first impression. They couldn't do that by excluding millions of 360 users just to cater to the niche X1 and PC crowd. This game was developed with the 360 in mind, and they ended up releasing a great game for all 3 platforms. No doubt the push back was a direct order from Microsoft to boost XBone sales. I'm glad I didn't fall for it, because Titanfall on the 360 is a blast.

The Xbone might be slightly better, but only slightly. Certainly not $500 better, and ultimately that's the true test. Would you pay $500 just to have this game look slightly better? Titanfall is a quickburn popcorn game that will run out of legs pretty quickly. Buying it for the console you already own rather than buying a new piece of junk that offers minimal improvements is the smart choice. Only so many times you can circle-strafe with space assault rifle before it gets tiresome after all.
You're not playing the game right then. There's a whole different aspect to the game that involves outplaying and out maneuvering your opponent, not simply strafing eachother on the ground (!!!) with the assault rifle >_< Honestly, just try out the Run 'N Gun perk with an SMG, you'll realize that it is much more fun to zip by people while spraying them full of led. Or, you could drop a pack of C4 next to that sniper you ran by, and blow the sucker up, or... anything! xD Also, the X360 is a good console, yes, but... it's a very old console. It will get outpaced by the newer games, and upgrading to the new XONE now (or in a year) is the best option, because it is highly likely that it will be used extensively by the newer games for around 5-10 years. The X360 will not be able to handle games in 5-10 more years, period. There is no argument here: your X360 is outdated, outclassed, and is gathering significant amounts of dust. It's time to move on mate; get a new console like the PS4, XONE, or even the Steam Machine (or any other 3rd party console....). Hell, if you feel inclined to spend the money, buy a PC, because it's pretty much guaranteed to keep up with the best performance, and will always be upgradable over time. Whichever option you choose to pick, just note that in the future, say... 3 to 5 years, your X360 will no longer be supported. Everyone would have moved on by then, except for you. I can guarantee that MS will not be creating a new console until the XONE is completely spent, much like the X360 is now, so you'll be waiting in the corner, alone with your 360, wondering where all of the games went, and why nobody supports that 10+ year old machine. You do not have to upgrade now, but it would be in your best interest to do it within a reasonable time frame. Either that, or you can stop spending your money on video games and invest in something useful. It's your choice.
Mate, I loved my 360. Had hundreds/thousands of hours of enjoyment with it. Boxed it up the other day because I couldn't be bothered to renew my Gold account, as I'm shelling out for PS+ because of my PS4 (been getting some nice games for my PS3 with Plus, too, so that's a bonus). This looks good on 360 ... the little fella can still hold his own!

Okay, to everyone on the one saying how horrible 360 version is, let me tell you the facts your missing. Titanfall on the 360 runs at an average of 46.5 fps, not 30 fps, with a cap of 60fps. However, there is an option to cap your fps at 30. This means that it runs smoothly. It IS playable and it IS enjoyable. Secondly, while the graphics are undeniably not as good as the xbox one's, they are still quite good looking and I personally don't take much notice of the little differences when I'm running around the map blowing people to bits in my giant robot, and besides, it doesn't look that bad at all. Many critics said he graphics exceeded their expectations and that they think it is still a beautiful looking game. Believe it or not, some of us don't have $450 for an xbox one right now, I certainly don't. So why should we not be able to play brilliant games because we don't have enough cash for a new console. To sum it all up, the xbox 360 version has all the features the xbox one contains, with about a 13.5 fps difference and a small difference in graphics. Other than that it is the same game, the same titans, the same pilots, the same maps, the same burn cards, the same weapons and abilities, the same titanfall. If I had an xbox one or enough spare cash to buy one I would get titanfall on the xbox one, however I don't and alot of other people are the same. But we are still going to get an amazing experience. Just because we don't have that extra $450 to spend on a new console doesn't mean we are inferior to you and you need to comment saying that the 360 version "looks like trash" and "only runs at 30fps" etc. because in my opinion, you look like fools when you say these things because your wrong.

This, supposedly, a "real next gen title", can run fine on last gen.. Like Titanfall, inFamous:SS could have run on PS3 with slightly worse graphics. We're expected to pay 400/500 bucks for just an incremental step in speed and power.. Where's that game changing, completely new feature? As far as I know, only Wii U has one of those as of now and that one's got a far more affordable price ($230-$260).. VR might be the game changing function for both XB and PS but that should be affordable to be something really universal.. No, as of now the only reason to buy the PS4 and XO is their exclusives - which are coming out in an incredibly slow rate.. It's wiser to wait for some time - everything will be cheaper too.. Meanwhile play on your PS3 and 360 they're not at all completely outdated or irrelevant yet..
folks its really simple. yes there are gonna be slight differences from platform to platform. but because Microsoft wanted this game as a system seller only, this is why the game was delayed twice. they knew the 360 version wasn't gonna be that much different from the xbox one version. hence most folks wouldn't drop the 500 bucks to get the ones version. this is also why in that same amount of time Microsoft not only gave the game away free but lowered the ones price. but they couldn't delay forever. they took their month of delay time and heavy titanfall /xbox one ads and still came up short of what they wanted. so now that folks can see that the 360 version is pretty close to its 500 plus dollar counter part im sure that the tens on millions like myself that own and xbox 360 will just buy it instead of letting go of the 500 bucks to enjoy this game for what it is worth. its also why we never saw 360 gameplay on any pre launch ads. it was always marketed as next gen or pc. yet there will be more copies sold on the 360 version than on the next gen/pc combined. this shows Microsoft, at the moment, could care less if the game sales as a stand alone. it wanted a system seller. but every good company always has a back up plan.. and now what you will see, seeing all the cards are on the table,is Microsoft will push and super support the 360 version seeing its sales will now be trying to bring Microsoft out of the red on this game. ive been saying the versions wouldn't be different enough to support the price to upgrade to the xbox one for 4 weeks now.and now we all can see, that is sadly the truth.

Regardless, just to have a little more crisp graphics and to run at 60 frames per second does not justify the purchase of the Xbox one, assuming you already own a 360. Name one other game that people can look forward to on the One? You can't, sony has won this console war. End of story
Something doesn't look right, it plays like Titanfall but it looks to dark and dinghy, hurts my eyes when i look for so long. Glad I'm playing it on the Xbox One.

Okay, to everyone on the one saying how horrible 360 version is, let me tell you the facts your missing. Titanfall on the 360 runs at an average of 46.5 fps, not 30 fps, with a cap of 60fps. However, there is an option to cap your fps at 30. This means that it runs smoothly. It IS playable and it IS enjoyable. Secondly, while the graphics are undeniably not as good as the xbox one's, they are still quite good looking and I personally don't take much notice of the little differences when I'm running around the map blowing people to bits in my giant robot, and besides, it doesn't look that bad at all. Many critics said he graphics exceeded their expectations and that they think it is still a beautiful looking game. Believe it or not, some of us don't have $450 for an xbox one right now, I certainly don't. So why should we not be able to play brilliant games because we don't have enough cash for a new console. To sum it all up, the xbox 360 version has all the features the xbox one contains, with about a 13.5 fps difference and a small difference in graphics. Other than that it is the same game, the same titans, the same pilots, the same maps, the same burn cards, the same weapons and abilities, the same titanfall. If I had an xbox one or enough spare cash to buy one I would get titanfall on the xbox one, however I don't and alot of other people are the same. But we are still going to get an amazing experience. Just because we don't have that extra $450 to spend on a new console doesn't mean we are inferior to you and you need to comment saying that the 360 version "looks like trash" and "only runs at 30fps" etc. because in my opinion, you look like fools when you say these things because your wrong.

We're expected to pay 400/500 bucks for just an incremental step in speed and power.. Where's that game changing, completely new feature? As far as I know, only Wii U has one of those as of now and that one's got a far more affordable price ($230-$260)..
VR might be the game changing function for both XB and PS but that should be affordable to be something really universal..
No, as of now the only reason to buy the PS4 and XO is their exclusives - which are coming out in an incredibly slow rate.. It's wiser to wait for some time - everything will be cheaper too.. Meanwhile play on your PS3 and 360 they're not at all completely outdated or irrelevant yet..
folks its really simple. yes there are gonna be slight differences from platform to platform. but because Microsoft wanted this game as a system seller only, this is why the game was delayed twice. they knew the 360 version wasn't gonna be that much different from the xbox one version. hence most folks wouldn't drop the 500 bucks to get the ones version. this is also why in that same amount of time Microsoft not only gave the game away free but lowered the ones price. but they couldn't delay forever. they took their month of delay time and heavy titanfall /xbox one ads and still came up short of what they wanted. so now that folks can see that the 360 version is pretty close to its 500 plus dollar counter part im sure that the tens on millions like myself that own and xbox 360 will just buy it instead of letting go of the 500 bucks to enjoy this game for what it is worth. its also why we never saw 360 gameplay on any pre launch ads. it was always marketed as next gen or pc. yet there will be more copies sold on the 360 version than on the next gen/pc combined. this shows Microsoft, at the moment, could care less if the game sales as a stand alone. it wanted a system seller. but every good company always has a back up plan.. and now what you will see, seeing all the cards are on the table,is Microsoft will push and super support the 360 version seeing its sales will now be trying to bring Microsoft out of the red on this game. ive been saying the versions wouldn't be different enough to support the price to upgrade to the xbox one for 4 weeks now.and now we all can see, that is sadly the truth.

Damn, this kinda sucks if you bought it on the x1... the fact that not many people play it anymore, kinda like how killzone died down, it would have saved you some mutha fuckin money if you had just waited but who likes ot wait eh? Wow. The difference is extremely noticable. Textures are lowered quite dramatically, and quite a few of the shading elements have been removed.
im just happy it plays well and the rest of us that dont have a next gen console get the chance to play this awesome game!

+Saikō no Not to much to unlock and customize, but the game mechanics are great and it's incredibly fun to play, campaign is ridiculously stupid, but right now it's hella cheap and season pass is free, and at least on Xbox there's a decent amount of players usually between 5000-8000 ish, so I'd say get it
