  • In this video, I'm stepping into the farmhouse kitchen, a place steeped in family history since my grandfather built it over 60 years ago. Today's recipe is a fragrant herb-roasted lamb leg, perfect for a special occasion. I only have a toaster oven at my disposal for this recipe, which is ideal for smaller kitchens. To lock in moisture and flavor, I wil wrap the lamb leg in parchment paper and tin foil, resulting in a delicious and tender roast.
    Marinate by blending:
    Cilantro, ginger and garlic
    Freshly squeezed lime juice
    Extra virgin olive oil (or any other oil)
    Hawaash (Somali spice mix) to taste
    Roast:
    Use root vegetables paired with onions and stuff whole garlic under skin.
