Never knew 4BT injection pumps had/used keys…my 6BT is just a taper fit, has provisions for a key in my P-pump, but the Cummins drive gear does not.The taper fit makes me a bit paranoid. Aftermarket drive gears have a key way slot and provisions to adjust timing…but I am a cheap bastard. BTW, Everyone screws up, some just recover better than others!
