i have a 6spd manual 2007 328i on eibachs with a 3 stage intake manifold(not tuned yet but still a noticeable difference) with 270k that pulls like a champ especially when i fill up with 93 octane shell...had a 6spd 335i that i loved but gave to my son when he left for college that does have more power as it should but my 328i still makes me smile

Well, those few reasons you chose the RWD vs AWD, you can literally get an X delete and it’ll make it RWD only and then you can turn it back on to AWD.
The only real reason high octane fuel gives you "worse" fuel economy is your right foot 😉 If you want to drive economically it *will* make a difference, but typically the price increase outweighs extra the fuel saved, so you may as well floor it 😁
I have the ram air intakes and I noticed a difference immediately. Biggest difference was new fuel pump , spark plugs, coils , new fuel pressure regulator. Also the blinker delete 😂😂😂
300whp shouldn’t be a problem. Check out a couple of the e30 swaps, 288whp at 7500 rpm with a header, n54 intake manifold and tune. N52 swap threads are on r3vlimited. Super underrated engine 👍

Craig beamer. I have a Fbo n52 and I’ve done the intake scoops. The reason there isn’t any conclusive dyno graphs on them is because they don’t work when you have no wind resistance. I can easily say I feel the difference on the interstate with them. If you take off the earlier intake cowling and look, you’ll see there is no guidance to force air into the box. Adding these helps to force air into the intake at high soeeds
Exactly right, I moreso mean there wasn't good proof other than speculation for me to have justified buying them at that time. But I did eventually shell out, I've got a set in my garage that I'm gonna use for a video pretty soon :)

I've got an x drive car, but I've stayed away because you kind of get rid of the advantages of all wheel drive while keeping all the disadvantages like the extra weight on the front end. But idk I haven't tried it really, do you feel like you handle better when you have x delete enabled?

What's your view on xdelete with the x-drive? I ended up sticking with the 328xi 'cause I want to hoon it thru deep snow in the winter and I like AWD snow driving dynamics, but I'm gonna run x-delete either RWD or 80/20 in the summer.
I’ve heard alot of people with 335s and xdelete running insane numbers in fourms and they’ve had zero issues and nothing but praise. Make sure your fluids are new however, especially if you’re going to be being a menace with Rwd. I plan on getting xdelete soon, best of both worlds.

Hey, all the modifications featured in my N52 playlist also apply to n52b25. As far as chip tuning goes, it's not really a thing, at least not for our cars. I honestly was scared to think that if I put 87 in my 2011 328 E92 it destroy like kill my pocket but it really wasn’t the case the one Risk I was not Risking worked now I drive 87 on a daily but when I wanna drive with power just put 91 bruh it doesn’t hurt to drive the car either on it still the same took it to dealer without telling them bout gas they said ur okay have a good one then I told them the eye’s were like what ur crazy see ya later. but they said it was fine ?????
Hardware wise yes, but I think with f10 n52s they had a different ECU model, so you might have to research a different tune other than Bimmerlabs. But I'm not 100% sure.

Right, I've seen 50-60$ ones that I'll probably try at some point. But the the afe ones have the most amount of reviews and more positive reviews. Still hesitant on them overall.

Not gonna lie, the fitment is not as easy/perfect as the OEM resonator pipe, but once you get it on there it's not gonna come off from unless you want it to. It can be a little bit of a hassle to get on sometimes, it took me about 10 minutes or so to seat it snug the 2 times I've installed them. I recommend buying hose clamps from any hardware store to put on it as well.

U actually get better fuel economy with premium gas with a high compression engine because the the cheap gas breaks down way faster under pressure and burns too quick
I wasn't trying to discourage people. It was mostly a joke because the airbox is pretty self explanatory and there isn't much that can go wrong. But I feel you shouldn't do something if you're not confident about what you're doing. Especially since some mechanic work can be dangerous (not the airbox)

Yup, and even in the manual it says theres no harm in using 87 on N52 cars

328i is just detuned 330i (for Germany and EU there is no 328i ist’s 330i and has about 260 hp
