I was 12 years old i did Buy this pirate dvd on the streets in México city since then i Star love ska reggae i need reggae and ska in My life reggae and ska it's My life when ever some one hits like on this only reminds me on this Great hit saludos desde México
Greetings Madam C, 1984, 1985 and 1986 were all paid ticketed events 1987 was the free event on Clapham Common...the event attracted sufficient sponsorship for the costs to be covered. It would be very difficult to produce events of that magnitude without the artistes, crew etc being paid after all that's their job so its only fair they get paid for their labour.
Beautiful. So much talent on one stage. And in such great form. This is possibly better than the 60s version. It would be wonderful if we could ever hear / see the rest of the set.
A friend was the bassist for The Hi Hats and opened for them countless time in RI in the mid 90s Skatellites are playing with Third World at Cape Cod Melody tent July 23, 2021
I had this on VHS and watched it hundreds of times in the 90's. Can somebody help me translate what he says at the beginning? Here is my best guess: "Another time then, Woman's club. We can walk the beach, six silver steppah, we are smokin', Tar a stalls all, talk about... Cool cools, shade cool, sit here, yeah!" (Commence righteous cane dance)

"Latin Goes Ska," written by Lester Sterling, rest in peace
Pachito e Che - Benny More. One of the many Latin songs that were covered by the Skatalites This is why this song was called Latin goes Ska.
Skatalites !! Non skatellites...!!
RIP Lester sterling
Rafa dos veces campeón ... en la buena cucho
Also you'd think that VP records would spell their name correctly!
