i havent noticed if you do this in all your videos but i love that you did 1 battle that worked out in your decks favor, a battle that didnt work out so well in comparison to the firsts in your favor but still worked, and a battle that you lost but did your best. as a newer player it makes it easy to learn to adapt to different situations for a deck you created. trying out the deck right now! (if u can do more videos with 3 battles this way if u dont already can u pls it makes it very informative to react and learn the play style of these decks.)
Passing for an update, after I finally reached Arceus playing exclusively with Froslass. :) Pokes - 3 Munkidori is essential, as you may rely on it a lot more on it than on Yveltal on certain cases; - You'll usually want to play with 2 Froslass +1 Snorunt as backup - not always great but balances damage on Munkis; - Radiant Alakazam stayed and is very strong for distributing damage for Yveltals and balancing KO timings; - Manaphy returned due to a lot of bench attackers out there; - Minior is now also in -- has a lot of plays, especially against Iron Hands and Iron Thorns; - Still thinking about the return of Mawile. See the point, but unclear on a comfortable strategy for it across current meta. Other cards - Also added a Supereffective Glasses (1hit-ko Irons above), but setup is tough, so still undecided if it's worth it; - Exp Share went out; didn't miss them, as long as you have at least 6 energies on your deck; - It does make Arven a lot more situational though, so need to think a bit more about potential good tools; - Unfair Stamp is the perfect Ace Spec here, no doubt about it; - Lost Vacuum is also in, and very important; - Been thinking about Elekid and Hisuian Ball, still TBD; Overall Comments - Deck is very versatile and fun to play. Not a tier1 deck, but definitely very playable. - Only saw two mirror matches. - It handles most recent Stellar Crown decks fine. Fun to see how people overestimate bulk on benched Ability pokes... - Most of your games will be won once your opponent is down to one-prize, and you need to be comfortable about that; - Dragapult is still a pain, Baby Roaring Moons are annoying and Duskulls are everywhere! (especially on Charizards) - Oh how I'd love a 70HP Snorunt. :) On an side note, Klawf apparently made Top4 at Joinville Regionals this weekend. Looking forward to try it sometime!
This is a very cool and fun to play deck! A few comments of mine after playing a few games early on the ladder: - I've added another Munkidori vs Mawile (still not clear how to play it, and Munkidori is great to have) - I've been using Radiant Alakazam vs Manaphy, but still not 100% sure it makes sense - I prefer running Ultra Balls instead of Great Balls - Still figuring out if Exp Share really plays a part here; may be looking for a different tool - I've considered Neutralization Zone, but it is hard to pick up and easy to be countered; Unfair Stamp is easier to rely on late in the game - Most issues comes from Iron Hands centered decks - Ursaluna is a beast at end-game; - Some things I'm still deciding: --- Lost Vacuum seems important to have (faced a few annoying tools and stadiums) --- Maybe Pokegear for easy access to supporters (despite having a lot of drawing ones)
@@robertsisk1149Technically to succeed even if you net deck you still gotta be good to beat other good players. Being a good deck builder only gives you originality points.
If I had the nickle for every time a single prize yveltal was a niche card in a deck for a format in the last 3 years id have 3 nickles which isn't a lot, but weird it happened three times
Damn. I do like this deck. I will definitely try it out. I think a vacuum would be a good addition to this deck. On the last game, you possibly could have stuck one of the iron thorns in the active by vacuuming off their tool. And with as many iron thorns are running around possibly could even use two. And an EXP share may be the one to get rid of.
@@Valter_David Didn’t use Yvelta, Hisuian Archanine has no attack cost if any of your bench have damage. Definitely a comeback deck and needs a few retrieving items because your hitters will be knocked out early on. Frostlas damages monkeydori who buffs Archanine for a finish or sets up Glalie for a big damage KO.
@@javiace-21 I added a Basculin for an extra basic and second turn Gather the crew. My support structure was way different but the key players are there.
I made a version of this deck and its by far my favorite deck so much so that i just ordered all the cards to make it physically . Im on a 12 win streak right now with it on tcg live. I threw in neutralization zone , took out a manaphy ,and added a radiant alakazam . The deck is fantastic and people really dont respect how fast it can get hairy for them lol. Almost every match they have 2 prizes left and i hit em with the neutralization zone ,the devo , and the roxanne . Bust out the yvetal or the bloodmoon and start wrecking them . Having 2 cards in your hands ,a neutralization zone in play , and a blood moon or yvetal thats about to start slapping either your hp or your energy away . Not to mention the munkis and frosslass still going in the back .
In a spread deck I like to use the sableye that pulls as many damage counters as you want from the opponent's bench up to the active pokemon for that surprise knockout if you need a "nuke" :D
No joke, I actually just took my Froslass Spread deck with H. Braviary and just updated it with Shrouded. It's very similar to what you've got, though I was still rocking Braviary since it's a no energy, 3 counters per pokemon. Little extra option. HA! These are my main two decks in the first game. Palafin (Though mine is a little different, but same idea) and Frosty spread
So the mute thing is kind of a bug but not. I’ve had the same issue and it’s because we have our music totally muted so when the game starts it’s just no sound at all. I put my music back on just as low as it can go without it being silent and I haven’t had the issue since.
This is super cool. Competitive spread decks are always hard to come by in standard. This seems consistent and powerful though. Dragapult matchup sucks though lol. Not a lot of single prize decks win against it though
I think that the third match was the only with the oponnent no bricking, so I don’t now if the deck is good or not. What I see is that if the oponnent is bricking the deck will punish him really hard for that
ForTheMisplay TCG : New youtube name? I mean we know you misplay on purpose for content and stuff, but like... i think the name change would be good because you dont win a lot of games anymore
Been trying this deck as soon as I read Yveltal first attack 😅 seemed destined to be built into froslass. Spinda is amazing in it too/single prize absol for the early 10 damage spread

15:57 Didn't you have game already? Put 10 on Cleffa and then attack with Yveltal.
or even counters to the other pidgey and yveltal
Pretty much, but playing on an extra turn is for the lulz
Yeah 100% would've had game right then and there. I was just about to comment the same and then saw yours :D
Lmao he tends to misplay. It's kinda Shawn's thing. Don't pay it too much mind.

You realize you can get cleffa with poffin right? Two games in a row you search it with nest ball that you should be saving for munky and yveltal
He acknowledges multiple times he can get Cleffa off of Poffin. Bro making misplays is just part of the channel at this point
@MoonGalaxy68 no one said he was actually good at the game. He just plays netdecks instead

maybe with the baby ursaluna is an option? there is a variant of this decjk in the gaiastormtcg channel that works either
The iron valiant is just the way more consistent way to play that deck. You don't have room for a 3 energy attacker in this deck

21:50 Bruh you really said "i hope they dont have another energy".. They just used earthen vessel... you know that grabs you TWO energy... right?
I used Glalie as a late game heavy hitter, and H Arcanine as a mid game hitter to cause damage, finish, or set Glalie up for a KO.
Ran it that way n my support count wasn't right n got dead draws
Yveltal, arcanine, froslass and glalie in the same deck sounds fun, I'll try it out

I saw a scizor frosslasa deck and now i wanna make one like that too
I was using a similar deck, now someone made it top8, crazy
Crazy that I would get this in my feed when all I've been playing is Froslass... I see you Google
BTW in the second game, the rellor was there because that person was playing tords list
whats the point of mawile and damage build up? its attack doesnt seem like it does much as a newer player
Bro is does 2 damage to each pokemon with damage on it not for each
I think he should have gone for Oinkologne EX

That second game made me want to rip my hairs out, great video.
I've been thinking: Monkidori and froslass with the new kingambit that can KO anything with 4 damage counters on it.
I wouldn’t have watched if it was just 6 prizes. Great gameplay!
ive used this deck alot and it is very good after this vid ima be seeing em left and right ugh
I would run the new stadium ace spec to stop them from knocking out
I do like froslass, but there just hasn’t been any real strong decks to use it for, but maybe this is the answer
That’s one big mouth vampire!!! Lmao
15:55 pretty sure you had game by retreating into yveltal and doing munki onto the clefts for total 30 damage counters and last KO on cleffa.
6:50 with tm devolution you could get 8 prizes :D

Maybe add one Spinda? ❤
0:23 It's 2 damage counters to EACH POKEMON with damage counters. Not 2 damage for EACH damage counter on the ACTIVE.
I think replace the mawile with radiant Alakazam to spread even more damage
"i dunno hwo to do maths anymore" you mean... you used to be able to? O___O
Where's the deck list tho?
Day 5! I’m glad froslass is still a thing, I think it’s strong enough to be somewhat relevant for its whole existence.
You could have taken 8 prizes that first game if you devolutioned cause it would actually devolve the palafin ex too
You were going to use unfair stamp to make him have 2 cards when he already had. 🤦
He also would’ve drawn 6 cards when he had 2….
Long live froslass ❤
Love your content but man.... It would just be better if you just pay a little more attention to them cards and how they affect the gameplay.
Think the charizard player was better off attaching energy and attacking with fezandipiti ex over the charizard
