We’re excited to introduce the Haven Hammock Stand, developed in collaboration with the experts at YOBOgear. This stand is designed to be compatible with all versions of the Haven Tent (yes, even the Safari!) and gives you the freedom to hammock wherever you want-from your backyard to the beach! 🌊🌲
In this video, we’ll guide you through the setup and takedown of the new Haven Hammock Stand. Our hammocks are known for their lay-flat comfort, which doesn’t work with traditional hammock stands. YOBOgear's patent-pending design brings added mobility to our innovative sleep system, letting you experience ultimate comfort anywhere.
Setup Steps:
1. Assemble the Stand: Lift the two plastic hub pieces, allowing the poles with shock cords to snap into place. Connect all leg and ridgepole segments.
2. Attach Tree Straps: Loop the tree straps around the hooks on the stand, preparing it for your hammock.
3. Hang Your Hammock: Hang your Haven Tent as usual. Maintain a lower hang angle to reduce tension on the ridgepole and avoid bending. *Don't pull the hammock too tight!
4. Stabilize the Stand: Before hopping in, push the two inward-facing legs toward the hammock to lower the third stabilizing leg, reducing any wobble. Even with a bit of wobble, the stand is plenty strong!
5. Relax and Enjoy: You’re all set! Now you can take your hammock anywhere with ease.

Also how flat does the ground need to be using the Haven Stand?
@@conan1869 You can see a video on IG where I set the stand up on a boulder. Had to move it around a bit until all legs were in contact with the ground. As long as you're flat-ish you should be able to find a spot that works.

does this comes with the tarp extensions like the Turtlebug does? it would be nice to use this with a bigger tarp if needed.

@@M0UL7889 right ✅ it’s a custom stand for the Haven system. It comes with poles for the rainfly. And there are holes in the ridgepole specifically for our setup. We were down the road on our own design…. But this one was better than ours.
@@HavenTents so it is not possible to use a normal tarp with this stand?
@@M0UL7889 It has all the same attachment points as the stands Yobo sells... you'd just have to go to them for their other (non-Haven) attachments. They are happy to make those available.
I have also backed the Yobogear Turtlebug. Are you saying u it won't work with that?

i have the ENO Nomad hammock stand that looks just like this (except it’s got 4 legs not 3) & have been thinking of getting the Haven. do you know if it’s possible the Haven & XL version would work with it if you take a look? thank you
Definitely say the best stand on the market but the price is too much. £236 pound for me in the uk. Same goes with the hammock tbh. Other brands such as night cat make flat laying hammocks now(not as good mind). So it be nice to see if competition effects the pricing 🤷. Though to add i might try one out soon as now shipping here isnt super expensive anymore. To see if it can replace my DD hammock .
how much does it weigh?
The stand and rainfly poles are 17 lb (7.7 kg). And pack down to 32 x 6 x 6 in. The carrying case has a strap as well.
