The stand arrived today, and I love it! I will always take livingroom furniture with me so I have something to push against to get a nice swiinging motion on my gathered-end hammock. :) The tarp poles have washers on the ends of each pole. The washers prevent the tarp poles from going through the holes in the cross bar. Should I remove the washers, or is there another way to assemble them?
@@gregariousgreg8413 yeah. Remove the washer. I’m working on a second setup video that will detail the accessories. We asked for a cap to be added to the end of the tarp poles. Buy they missed the mark in execution 😅 first production run!
@@HavenTentsPerfect! The washers were easily removed with scissors by my niece. I am not allowed to have fire or sharp objects. I am allowed to hang in a hammock!
so this the Turtlebug modified for the haventent? i backed that on ks. does this comes with the tarp extensions like the Turtlebug does? it would be nice to use this with a bigger tarp if needed. i really like how the haventent tarp is atached to the stand.
@@M0UL7889 right ✅ it’s a custom stand for the Haven system. It comes with poles for the rainfly. And there are holes in the ridgepole specifically for our setup. We were down the road on our own design…. But this one was better than ours.
@@M0UL7889 It has all the same attachment points as the stands Yobo sells... you'd just have to go to them for their other (non-Haven) attachments. They are happy to make those available.
@@Groovingforwardatx my windiest camp ever was on this beach. 😂 I set up here because I thought it would make a good video and show off the “tree free” power of the stand ✌️
@@conan1869 You can see a video on IG where I set the stand up on a boulder. Had to move it around a bit until all legs were in contact with the ground. As long as you're flat-ish you should be able to find a spot that works.
i have the ENO Nomad hammock stand that looks just like this (except it’s got 4 legs not 3) & have been thinking of getting the Haven. do you know if it’s possible the Haven & XL version would work with it if you take a look? thank you
Definitely say the best stand on the market but the price is too much. £236 pound for me in the uk. Same goes with the hammock tbh. Other brands such as night cat make flat laying hammocks now(not as good mind). So it be nice to see if competition effects the pricing 🤷. Though to add i might try one out soon as now shipping here isnt super expensive anymore. To see if it can replace my DD hammock .
Awesome! I love the collaboration.
Us too! Thanks so much! 🌲😴🌲
Ive been looking at those stands for a while and I got to get me one

Super cool !! 🌞🌴💛😇
Right!? Can't beat this set up 🤙
Loooove this!!!
It's wild to set up the hammock away from trees. The view is off the carts with no obstructions!
Very nice 👍🏻
Thanks!

@@HavenTents so it is not possible to use a normal tarp with this stand?

I have also backed the Yobogear Turtlebug. Are you saying u it won't work with that?
@@bethhronek1772 it will ✅ you’re good!

Awesome, now I gotta save up for both the True Level Insulated and Haven Stand. Hook a brother up with a discount. 🙏
Also how flat does the ground need to be using the Haven Stand?

I love it but $300+ is nuts
Note. It's the least expensive turtle dog hammock stand on the market.
@@HavenTents would literally have to try it first convincing the wife is gonna be hard lol

Hey I’m looking for stands too how does that stand work with the haven? Cus the stand for to the haven is a lot and it looks like the turtlebug stand
how much does it weigh?
The stand and rainfly poles are 17 lb (7.7 kg). And pack down to 32 x 6 x 6 in. The carrying case has a strap as well.
When and where is it for sale
It's not available for preorder from Haventents.com Here's the direct link. haventents.com/products/hammock-stand

Unfortunately it's not rated the same as the Safari. I'm well over the 300 lb capacity
