- During our trip to Poland, we visited Auschwitz and Bierkenau - where over 1.1 Million Jews and others labeled "undesirable" in some way, were brutally murdered in one of the most horrific acts of genocide the world has ever seen.

thx for that visit. Greetings from Tricity in Poland
Thank you for sharing
As a Pole, I have never been there and I don't want to be there because I would have the impression that I was walking on graves, the ground there is soaked with the ashes of millions of human beings. Jews from all over Europe but also Poles died there. Until 1942, mainly Poles died, and since that year most of them died. Jews.
Powerful - thanks for sharing. We must never forget.
Interesting one guys thanks for sharing
Powerful. What a memorable and intense experience.
It really was
Interesting video. Do you have to pre-order the tour guide, and the tickets beforehand? Or can you just casually go there before any planning?
Purchasing a guided tour is obligatory and you're best served to reserve ahead at least a few days in advance. There were no guided tours available in our language at the time we wanted to visit, so we started with a Polish speaking group and then broke off to explore on our own. Hope that helps!
@@awaytogether Yep, thank you :)
What a moving experience.
wow good video keep it up
in Poland we don't like what they say "Nazis" only Germans, there has never been such a thing as the Nazis!
Oddziel ideologie od człowieka.
Please dont talk about this so much anymore. I am of german descent and very proud of my countey os origin. It is sheer insanity that talk about so much after eighty years. Why should i suffer i had nothing to do with this.
You are not suffering. It is history and you are ignorant. Your comment proves the necessity to never forget. It wasn’t just Germans who were guilty. It was the entire world that stood by and let Hitler and the Nazis murder 6 million Jews and 3 million other “undesirables” including Roma, political prisoners, etc. And remember that the murdered Jews included GERMAN Jews. Germany itself recognizes the need to remember. Too bad you lack sufficient maturity to understand the need to teach history.
I think you are mentally ill to say something like this. You should never forget such genocide. People of present and future should know history instead of erasing it, we are still learning about ancient world and its wars that happened thousands of years ago. No one will blame you today for what your ancestors did almost a century ago, unless you're proud of it (and some Germans still are today).
