I really enjoy all your travels! Especially this one, Poland! I would have loved to meet all of my father's family that lived there, and are still living there. Polish grandmother taught my southern Mother how to make those pierogis, so I know what you are saying about them being yummy!
Hehe, I didn't even know that donuts could be stuffed, my favorites are stuffed with rose and pistachios. And when I was learning how to make dumplings, I saw that they mashed the potatoes with a fork, but that's not how they do it, they just ground them with white cheese.
