Having enjoyed an outstanding year, Alesso certainly isn't resting on his laurels as it starts to draw to a close. Following the release of huge vocal anthems 'Calling (Lose My Mind)' with Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder and 'Years' featuring Matthew Koma, the young Swede is going solo and honing his focus directly on the club with blazing new single 'Clash'.
Having been officially unveiled by Otto Knows on Pete Tong's BBC Radio1 show as part of the Young Stars of 2012 takeover, 'Clash' is set for release on Refune Records imminently. Moving into darker than his most recent offerings, 'Clash' sees him returning to the heavier nature of earlier productions while continuing to push his sound into new territory. Retaining the melodic finesse and anthemic power that he is known for, big riffs and a grinding bassline drive the track forward. Living up to its title, 'Clash' is a dynamic call to arms for club goers.
At just 21 years old, Alesso has quickly established himself as one of the most fresh and exciting talents of the EDM world, and with a flourishing back catalogue of club and chart hits already to his name and a reputation as a DJ that precedes him, this is clearly only the start for the supremely talented young DJ and producer. Following the success of breakthrough singles such as 'Nillionaire', 'Raise Your Head' and 'Calling', Alesso went straight into DJ Mag's Top 100 in his first year running as well as being tipped by MTV as one of their EDM artists to watch for 2012. Since the turn of the year things haven't slowed down either, recording an essential mix in March, hitting the top of the Beatport and DMC Buzz Charts and travelling across the world to play to 1000s of fans from Masquerade Motel in Miami to Coachella, EDC to Tomorrowland and Milton Keynes Bowl, where he supported Swedish House Mafia. You're right, it really is the record's labels fault. If you guys say Clash came out first, then I believe you. But I'm glad we're on the same page about releasing songs sooner.
Record Labels and Artists, stop complaining about people downloading rips, and start releasing tracks when you see the demand.

Thats absolutely true. I don't understand what are labels trying to accomplish with doing that. I mean, if someone likes the song, he won't wait a year until its released just so he can listen to it. He'll find some shitty rip, get bored in maybe a month, and turn over to some new music. Avicii's Le7els is absolutely the worst when it comes to this. I've been waiting for Adstedt - Humans to be released for so long that meanwhile the artist himself has changed his name.

if you actually had a clue you would know that the preview of this track came out months and months before Iron, and that Iron actually is the copy.
i honestly dont even think iron sounds like this, i know the melody is similar but the overall songs are so different

clash was made before iron by nicky romero. nicky then took advantage by releasing the song earlier knowing that clash would be released much later after alesso already released a string of songs in such a small amount of time. nicky samples lots of other songs anyway, alesso made a facebook post that disapproved of nickys sampling which is why nicky is getting a bit more hate for sampling this song
If he did copy it would have sounded exactly like Iron
In music people do something called "sample". They make the same sound but change the pitch melody and get something completely different but similar at the same time.
It doesn't matter anyways. Just enjoy the music.

Clash hasn't been released, so on paper Iron came first. However, we both know that means nothing. And just because you heard Clash in March, doesn't mean I, or someone else, didn't hear Iron in February. At the end of the day, Alesso was too late releasing the song. Artists need to stop waiting so damn long to release their music.

it's not called sampling, sampling is actually taking the song and slicing it up or cutting it or whatever.. nicky romero just used sort of the same melody.

It's Calvin Harris and Nicky Romero that are copying here!, Alesso has been playing and working on Clash the whole summer, played it on BBC 1 and Avicii played it also at Tommorowland. Alesso also writed on his facebook about Iron, its Calvin Harris and Nicky Romero that are the bitches in this case.
