The Trijicon RMR mount features an integrated rear tritium sight that allows a lower 1/3 co-witness of the front tritium sight post.
Factory RMR 1911...... you did It!
This is the gun of my dreams. Our family friend is a police officer, and he swears by the TRP. He’s carried his TRP for many years, and it’s never let him down. My favorite pistol caliber is 10mm, so a 10mm TRP is like a dream come true.
Awesome! I love the 10mm, so versatile in many aspects. This definitely adds another level to hunting. Would love to have one. SA you Rock and spot on with your engineering! Keep it up y'all.
Why no rail?
That gun almost makes me forget that you stabbed us on the back springfield! Nice freaking pistol!!!
It’s on the bucket list! Love Springfield 1911 platforms!
Love Springfield 1911's best ones on the market!
No rail! Geez Springfield!
I had a chance to put 10 rounds through one of these at a recent Springfield event at my local store/range. It was one of the smoothest shooting pistols I have paid hands on at any price! I shot the 6" barrel model and I will be buying one very soon!!
Love mine. Rmr is killer. 50yrds is like 7
Picking my 6" TRP RMR up tomorrow, just in time for deer season.
Springfield Armory would always be my first choice. And I say that with the Heckler & Koch headquarter just a few miles away from my house...!
Bring this back
don't own a 1911 but this looks inviting !!
Yes please
Looks great, last year or so I was going to buy the XDM 5.25. its beautiful but when you guys pulled that stunt in Illinois I couldn't do it. I'm still mad I quess, sorry!! Rich
So cool.
This is awesome, now we just need a factory threaded barrel option for suppressor users
I have a TRP in 45ACP great gun.
I will only trust Springfield Armory pistols. Yes one day I'll buy my first 10mm. Love the XD Mod.2 3.3 45acp. I'm going to be a loyal customer of Springfield Amory. Springfield loyal customer for life never a nother brand.
urfiredude0048 Springfield armory = Blue Falcons
Ordered one today.
Oh, I want one!
Wish you were still making these... or at least I wish my gun broker could find one.
Awesome gun, not doubt. But we wanted an XDm in 10mm. 17 rounds and under $700. Shot show 2019 would be a great time to say they begin shipping in February. Okay, great thanks.
Would love a 9mm Railed RMR.
Goddamn it Springfield!.....just take my money.
G Dub Didn’t Springfield Blue Falcon the entire gun community? Why would you help them.
darth nader they make nice guns
Will a 2024 TRP 10mm variant be released?
Can we get the green and black trp operator with the rmr cut in 45acp?......
This is now my next purchase
Ever going to make a 9mm? I would have purchased one by now.
Do they make a red dot TRP chambered in 45?
Where's the rail? Frame looks like it's already set up to be milled, but isn't.
Ha! I know what I'm getting for my birthday. 😁👍
Yes, for the money, the Springfield 1911 is the bees knees.
Springfield!!!!!.....that's one sexy fucking pistol
We need one thats a ds for competition.
They should have fitted it with a compensator like they do on the .460 Rowland.
Buy TRP 10mm. Two weeks later, TRP RMR 10mm gets announced
....dang it
Rusty Shackleford
I'm with ya' brother.
Besides the RMR, I do wish the original came with a mag well and the coated trigger/barrel.
Send it back to have the work done.
Will there be a version with a rail?
Is the frame a standard 1911 frame?
I want that rmr set up on my RO.
In LOVE!!
I want one!
Is this blued steel?
waiting for the Xdm 10mm
Oh man I had never thought of a XDm in 10mm, I might have to trade in my 4.5 9mm XDm for a 10mm one if they ever came out with it.
An XDs 4.0 in 10 mm would be a nice carry piece.
Your wish is my command
Why is it now discontinued????
.45 acp cannot even cycle a 6" slide that isn't lightened. I think this is the perfect size for a 10mm. that extra weight is needed I've seen plenty of earlier 10mm designs that have cracked slides
Hot damn SO MUCH WANT
I like nighthawk custom too
Interesting that there is no dust cover rail
That would be sweet if it came out in double stack
chris cornwell it would be as thicc as a German dictionary
Verygood
Omg!!!! 10mm!!!!
I need that😊
Fuck yea.
I own the 6” and handload some wicked 10mm for it…vaporizer on bottles
This is almost the best bump in the night gun if not for it not having rail for a weapon light 🔦
I have one and it is geared more for a hunting pistol. It works great on pigs
Is SA done making deals with the devil
I want one. I would prefer the six-inch model with adjustable sights.
LarryC213 just wait.... it will be out in 7 months... then 3 months after that it will be 835 out the door for a 10 mm 1911 target pistol... just be patient...
South Paw and Southern, Thank you. I look forward to that.
LarryC213 there is a Springfield Saint pistol out in 5.56 and 300 Blk... to hold you over!!
When you buy the weapon,it comes with a wet nap to clean your manhood...awwwwwwww😏
I want a 45 acp version
Within the past month, I purchased an XPM .45 ... NOW you tell me that your TRP is your "best for the money". Anyone take trades?
Love 'm !
Needs a rail. Mounting the optic to that slide never holds up with full house loads. Not even the rail mounts I’ve purchased for my 2 10MM have held up to more than 500 rounds.
capnmoench it does have a rail just not cut for grooves. Look at it it has a heavy thick dust cover
Lower rail, I meant. The first "scene" shows one milled, but subsequent screens show nothing.
I have a Kimber 10MM added to my collection. It's pretty decent after working out the bugs, but I hate running my 1300-1400 FPS standard loads through it. My cheap-ass $700 EAA Witness handles the strain better than a $1300 Kimber. 1911 works great for .45 ACP, but 10MM at correct pressures aren't what it was designed for.
i know what you mean. rails are a love/hate for me. on the one hand its so handy when u throw on a light, on the other hand it's less classic looking. i personally am a 1911 guy which means unique variations speak to me, i dont want the same thing all the time. a long slide 10mm with RMR and suppressor height sights out of the box with a heavy unique dust cover for recoil control is very u nique, you won't find that anywhere. even though a rail would be useful i dont see myself using it in the field. plus i hate 2 tone guns but that OD green frame looks good in the hand when the guy shoots it
WHAT!
Got mine in 5" TRP w/ RMR 10mm, wouldn't feed anything out of the box. Ya gotta be kidding... my first Springfield (and last -what a disappointment). Sloppy work / no excuse for the $ of this gun
Let's see a 911 and XD-S mod 2 in 9mm! You can do it!
The Angriest Puppy I just want to see a 911 in black. I can't find one anywhere.
Still not buying Springfield
I know you've got to stand by your product but making claims like "X company makes the best Y product" is a little much don't you think? Regardless, this might be my first 10MM.
Now Make an optic ready, railed, front strap checkered 45 already with match grade barrel and bushing and not that bull barrel crap, c'mon!
thaaaaaaaaat's pretty hot..!
Please please ease make this in 9mm my 45 TRP needs a friend
This is a monster! Imagine 911 in 10mm!
Don Scherenberg 911 not a 1911. Meant as a joke.
The video shows this big gun kicking hard. Aside from (expensive) plinking, I can't think of any reasonable use for this gun. It's too big to carry and too powerful to be a good choice even for home defense. Would I take one given to me? Of course! But I'd never buy one....even if my wife said "yes" to it, highly unlikely.
10mm is one of the most versatile rounds out there. Great for self defense, hunting, hiking, ect.
sexy
no rail - ever going to buy that crap
2000 bucks
its a bargain
Meh... 😕
#MAGA
10mm xdm 5.25? 👍👍👍👍 Single stack 1911? Meh
Learn to hit the target!
Looks cool but it might be better if they somehow were able to move the rear sight forward and put the rmr red dot behind it.
Pogue Mahone not being a troll, but why would they do that? That would reduce the sight radius for the fixed sights effectively making it them less accurate, and having more weight from the red dot further back would affect the balance of the gun, as well as having more reciprocating mass behind the natural fulcrum of your wrist when fired. Not to mention that our eyes are already accustomed to finding the rear sight out of habit and training. I could be wrong, but that’s just my two cents.
Greg C, I would want that because the rmr would be my primary sight and I would use the iron sights as back up. I understand about the sight radius being reduced, for me having a reduced sight radius would make me line up the iron sights faster if the rmr stopped working. I have one of my Tupperware guns set up with an rmr all the way the rear and the rear sight in front of it and it works great for me.
I don’t think you’re a troll, you didn’t make fun of me or called me stupid.
I had seen a Sage Dynamics video and I copied the set up on his Glock 17, I figured if it works on the Glock, it should work with any gun.
Pogue Mahone Totally understandable. Especially if you already have a set up like that and are used to it then by all means. It really just matters what you train and are comfortable with! I have a Glock 17 MOS with the sight behind a Vortex Viper and the way the RD is made, they have these stupid set screws for locking windage and elevation that are blocked by the rear sight, so I have to either drift it out, or remove the RD to make adjustments. Talk about impractical! I am considering drilling holes in the rear sight just in case I need to make adjustments. Hey look at that! A RUclips comment thread where no one got butt hurt or became a keyboard warrior! I didn’t know that was still possible lol. Stay safe and vigilant brother!
Greg C, I don’t know if you have seen this. I did this to my Glock 17. It was pricey but it has been well worth it.

Pogue Mahone wow man. That indeed does look pretty interesting. I’m gonna be getting a 19 for edc here soon so I’ll have to give it a shot. Thanks for the info and link!
