They all have a different tone and sound but I absolutely love the EZ3 or Superior Drummer. Their algorithm and everything within it's system is so easy to use and great for something to just start off with. There are plenty of tutorials on their youtube page but really loving EZ Drummer 3 here as well. GGD comes second, at least to me. I do more pop punk so it does get a heavy hit similar to Metal.
EZ3 then GGD. GGD comes close to that EZ2 sound to me at least. Also thanks for posting this since I don't see many youtube vids comparing the two that was straight forward like this. I was looking for one that is for Pop Punk between EZdrummer vs GGD.

I was not expecting the ezx to sound different bettween ezdrummer 2 and 3
youre using a ez expansion in superior drummer.... should have used a SD3 expansion there like death and darkness.
