You can do it way faster if you actually used the car for more than 5 Minutes. Put ESC as a shortcut then you just press race mode pull down the shortcut menu press esc button and you are good to go. In the Golf R its even faster to setup
And unfortunately the front end wheel hop is terrible on the GTI, even worse than my previous Focus ST. I did eventually fix it though...by getting a 2024 Golf R 😆
No one has thought to tell auto journalists there’s a swipe down menu.
Absolutely beautiful GTI evolution. The MK8 GTI is as good as it gets.
Thank you for this video just brought this car it got delivered today. God bless you🤝🏾
Hey i did all the things needed to launch the golf r but the rpm always went down never steady on high rpm any idea how?
Is this the same for the mk8 R?
this is sooo cool
Why you would not just have a sport button like Mazda I don’t know. Why would you spend all that time farting about
all this to launch it by the time this all activated the other car has won the race lol.
True!
That's why you do it before hand?

Does it work with ESC in Sport (instead of OFF) as well ?
Does this work for a manual transmission
anyone knw if it works on a gtd 22 plate
Full send with people walking on the road a few yards away, NICE
Launch control on fwd with Esc deactivated is so useless.
It just makes zero sense
Heat up those tires for the actual run you want to record?

@@JCTiggs1 So the way you fix it is by spending another $10,000?
@@user-lv23 Definitely worth it! 🙂
Got it wrong again huh journalists lol. So press sport on gearbox, sport on suspension, swipe down from top hidden screen and press sport again, done
