I am a Telugu boy from Andhra Pradesh and I visited Ahobilam 3 times . Ahobilam is a tiny village in the middle of the Nallamalla forest . There are 9 forms of Narasimha called Nava Narasimha(Paavana , Bhargava, Karanja,Chatravata,Yogananda,Varaha,Ugra,Jwala,Malola )
and for each one there is a temple and the 9 th one is called Ugra Sthambham which is 9000 feet above sea level and as Vinay said you need be physically fit and ofcourse you need to have Narasimha's grace upon you. I cannot actually put into words the divinity I have experienced after visiting Ahobilam. It is a must visit site for eveyone who wants to experience Narasimha's power. Om Namo Naarasimhaya Namaha🙏

My home town which is Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh has an ancient temple built by prahalada himself where Vishnu is in 2 forms Varaha and Narasimha. According to puranas prahalada after praying to Narasimha swamy he also wanted to see the previous avatar of swamy which is Varaha. So swamy here in simhachalam is called as Sri Varaha lakshmi Narasimha swamy.

It's hard to even wrap your mind around the complexity of Brahman. Krishna inviting a devotee to worship him in a Narasimha temple is something nobody would have expected.
All the gods Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma, Goddess Parvati, Goddess Saraswathi, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Hanuman, Krishna, Rama, and Narasimha, and their avatars are interlinked with one another in such a convoluted way that they all trail back to Parabrahman or supreme reality. Just thinking about the scale of this and the purpose of all of these avatars is itself mind-boggling and I don't think it would be possible to understand it with a logical mind. You would need a great Guru and spiritual practice to see everything on the grand scale.

Padma padacharya, a disciple of adya Shankaracharya was one of the greatest devotee of Narsimha.. he had some boon by Narsimha that Narsimha will come to help him if he calls him n is in trouble. When a evil minded Kapalik Tantrik was about to behead Shankaracharya, Padmapadacharya called for Narsimha... Narsimha entered in his body n padmapadacharya killed the Tantrik just like narsimha killed hiranyakashyapu... he inserted his nails in stomach of Tantrik. Shankaracharya was saved. Shankaracharya saw lord Narsimha in the body of padmapadacharya, and created a stotra of Narsimha to calm him n praise him.

And this is called kathakalakshepam in english. A story telling form that explains the mythological or puranic stories in a comprehensive manner. This was done as a part of pass time in the past, when people had all the time in the day to spare for recreation and entertainment. Religion offered such a platform for
    Religiotainment - Religion + entertainment
Hindutainment - Hinduism+ entertainment. All puranas or mythology or mythological stories like
    bagavat purana
Shiva purana, vishnu purana, skanda purana etc were hindutainment.

More like he was indeed looking like a man which resembled the features of a lion with the human features including beard, eyebrows, facial structure representing a lion not too flashy but the ones who witnessed it probably as a far take could not represent it detailedly so they gave him a lion head and a human body referring it was a lion man btw this is just for thought. I am not saying this is what it is!😅

there is only one God,The Creator, you who are Sanatana Dharma call Him Brahman. Jesus calls Him Father. the rest are extraterrestrials. what many Christians,Jews and idiots muslims are ignorant of is that Old Testament is full with aliens...Elohim,Seme Hassamayin,El Elion as chief god and others lesser gods like Yahweh,Marduk,Dagon,Ba`al/Hubal/Allah,Asherah etc...there are about 70 of them though not everyone mentioned.
But Jesus,Isha as it is written in Bhavishya purana, says God is Father. He never calls Him by name.
But He also said,if you will not behave like me,act toward other like me,you will not be in His grace and you will not see Him. I am the way,the truth and the life. Nobody comes to the Father but through me!
    Peace be upon you
