Sarah you are so talented and I love all of your work in every project that you have uploaded. I wanted to praise you for looking after the boys of the future, the help that your group is providing is essential and seldom offered to the males, to get the help they need or the ways to express their feelings. God has a special place for you in this world and you are living your passion. You are a wonderful teacher, and mom!!!
Hi Sarah, thanks for your kind words. 😊 Your moth looks beautiful in the wool. Want a great idea that RUOK day is. I’m not sure I remember my boys having anything like that at school here. Good for boys to know it’s ok to ask for help or check in with a friend. Wish you had been my art teacher at school, I’d have loved art then!😂😂 Hope it all goes well. 💐
Hi Sarah, I love your moth and i am one of those that thinks moths are as beautiful as butterfly's. I think your "are u ok" day is a great idea and hope that the boys will learn it's ok to talk about their feelings and also have a good day! TFS 😊
How great that the school pays attention to the mental health of students. It's so important. I lost a son to suicide. This is 13 years ago. It has a lot of impact on family and friends.👍👏🧡🍀
Wonderful that you do R U Ok? Day and promote mental wellbeing. We do the same at work and had an R U Ok? Picnic in Carlton gardens on Thursday - it was really lovely ti take time out from the busy day and have relaxed conversation in the sunshine. So important at all ages to check in on well being. I’m also a volunteer Peer Supporter at my organisation and we’re people that anyone in the organisation can come to and we listen and connect them to support (both informal like friends and family and formal support services. We then check back in how they are going). Cheers, Christine
I just love that there is a national day for “asking if you are okay”! And you are so involved in your school’s activities regarding that particular mental health issue! It’s truly a great idea, one that America could easily adopt. (And the rest of the world) There would be resistance from some Americans cause there is this loner cowboy mentality and some people would think it’s too touchy feely. My husband’s two brothers committed suicide and I try to be aware of my husband’s moods etc. since it runs in his family. 😢 Love your wool stitched moth, so very pretty!
your moth is beautiful Sarah! Hope your RUOK day goes well. what a terrific idea to teach those important life skills to your boys. thanks for sharing your process with us. linda from california
I lost a 21 year old daughter to suicide over ten years ago. She found it very hard to ask for help. Well done Sarah for organising this event, it’s very important. ❤❤❤
So sorry to hear this 💔 My son has attempted suicide twice. It's the hardest thing as a mother to see your child struggle. Sending you love, one mum to another ❤️
@@BB-sk9hf thank you for your kindness. I can only offer the advice that I consider my daughter died as a result of illness, depression, and that we were ready to talk about it to others. She could have died from cancer or some other ‘physical’ illness. We were determined to be open about it, her problems were a result of an imbalance of her brain chemistry. I do hope your son has a long term recovery. ♥️♥️♥️
I love your moth. Its so colorful. It sounds like you really work well with your boys. My boyfriend killed himself when we were in high school. So sad. We have several friends and relatives who have also killed themselves. I wish there had been something we could have done. Bless you❤
Your rainbow moth is just wonderful. All the colors blend together so nicely. I appreciate your videos because we can hear how busy you are. Glad you get just a little time for something that gives you joy.
Sarah, that's a great moth!. It's beautiful!~I have a love/hate relationship with moths. They are fascinating creatures, some can be beautiful, some odd and some not so pretty. Haha We have a season of the moth where I live and they are horrible. They get into everything, they get into closed up spaces, like RV's, etc. and leave their .... everywhere. Then they die and they are ALL over the place, to be cleaned up. They get in your face. Worst of all they eat holes in your clothing. That's the hate part! lol I so admire the Suicide prevention program your school is doing with the boys. That is so important. It has become a very real problem in the US. It is so very sad that young people think they have nowhere to turn when they are in distress. It's even more troubling that they are in such a place that seems like their only way out. So, so sad. Thank you for being involved in such a wonderful cause. God bless and best wishes, Suzie
Sarah: not only is your stitching impressive, but your career as well. I’m assuming this is a private school. The in-depth teaching about life and what is important is quite something. Do the public schools have close to the same curriculum or parts of it for young teens? Again,- most impressive! Carol from California
It's great that you have a national day for "asking if you are okay". Hopefully it will save some lives. I love your moth! I started slow stitching a few months ago. I have only been using embroidery thread. Can you tell me the name of the wool that you stitch with? I am in the United States. Do you know where it could be purchased here, or where it can be ordered online? Thank you.

Thank you for zooming in as you stitched the moth! It was very helpful to a thread-painting newbie like me. Beautiful work!

@lucy7b thank you so much ❤ Yes, you're so right, that imbalance of brain chemicals is poorly understood, but so crucial.
@@BB-sk9hf as a scientist who doesn’t believe in deities I was able to rationalise this. I am from England. ♥️♥️♥️
Love your moth.

Hi Sarah. What video would I go to to watch the beginning of this project. Thanks
Where do you source the type of wool you are stitching with? I’m in the USA and not sure where to find.
