Hi, friend. Just remember, you will never win any struggles with sin in your own strength. You need to ask Jesus for His strength, every day. Pray to Him when you feel tempted. Read promises from the Bible. Ask Jesus to conquer your heart, because you cannot give it to Him. God loves to answer this prayer. He rejoices to deliver you from sin. Even though old habits may be very strong, keep praying for God's strength, and He will deliver you.

Good evening, I have been baptized as a Christian, and one thing that I really need to do is to share the knowledge I have about Jesus to others who have not heard of Him or have ignored Jesus even though they have heard of Him. I know financially, it is impossible to do this to everyone I know but I am doing it on my own little ways whenever I have approached a person who has never believed that there is God nor they have not believed in Jesus. I have been finding true happiness over the past years and I am beginning to learn that true happiness cannot be found in all your material successes in life. These material or earthly successes can give you comfort and happiness temporarily, but true happiness can be found in believing in Jesus, doing His way of life and sharing the good deeds to others and be an instrument for others to believe in Him...

We have a sizable population of Muslims here in northern Virginia. Whenever I see a woman wearing a hijab or I pass by someone that I know to be Muslim, I say a silent to God that He will lead that person to Christ. I have no idea if those prayers are effective or not, but it beats doing nothing.

I lived in a town that had many churches but not an SDA church. When I left and went to 'the city', only then did I learn of the SDA message. I have always wondered why the Seventh Day Adventist church speak so much about missions in other countries but seems to neglect those on their 'doorstep'? My life would have taken a whole different path if I had learned the Adventist truth when I was growing up. I truly think that there is some truth that the SDA church/religion is an exclusive religion from my own experience.
There are more SDA's in foreign countries than in the USA. Not because we don't try. Many people here are just not as open to the 7th day Shabbat (Sabbath). Confused by the ending statements, it feels like some statements is contradictory to the other. If Jesus is the only way to salvation how come, people who "respond" to the inspiration of angels or Holy Spirit and did good things, can be saved without accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour? There are people who said that they don't need to believe in the existence of God to be a good person. So, is believing in Jesus, a crucial thing to our salvation or not?

Pastor Doug, Why is there little emphasis on the real truth about baptism and what Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:1 through 3:12 ? Why do many preachers and pastors teach people to believe they are saved merely by claiming to believe in Jesus as their savior, then having to be baptized in water. Isn't it true, that Jesus said "That which is flesh is flesh," flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God? Jesus also said, we must be born again, of water and the spirit in order too see and inherit the Kingdom of God. That being said, wouldn't this mean, that we are not born again merely by claiming that Jesus is our lord and savior, or by being baptized or dipped in water. Jesus said unless a man be born of water and the spirit he cannot see the Kingdom of God. What would this mean then, are we are not born again until our flesh dies and we are later raised to life in the spirit, having put on the likeness of God, being transformed from our fleshly mortal bodies, to our new spirit immortal body, thus being truly born again as when Jesus died, he being the first to die and be born again and raised to life again in the spirit. Isn't this what Jesus meant when he said; we must be born again of water and the spirit in order to see and inherit the kingdom of God? John Chapter 1. Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews. 2. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with him.” 3. Yes, people are unwittingly born into 'sin' so in a sense, we are totally 'innocent'. However we have to do certain things to be saved - first is, accept the sacrifice of Christ which is not enough, if you read Romans 2:6-8. 'God will repay each person according to what they have done.' There is no mention of salvation solely by believing in Christ here. It's about 'works'. Finally, for those living in the last days, there is a 3rd requirement to be saved, which is NOT accepting the mysterious 'mark of the beast.'

The actual plan of salvation is Given by Peter. Peter was given the keys to the Kingdom of heaven. He says this in Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name to Jesus Christ and ye shall receive the promise of the Holy Ghost. for this promise is unto you and your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the Lord our God shall call. We can preach about sin, but the only way to wash it away is in water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.

Batchelor, along with the entire SDA organisation, misunderstands 1 John 3:4. It doesn't say "sin is transgression of the law" (which would imply many possible transgressions) but "sin is THE transgression of the law", which allows for only one possible transgression. So it's not talking about the decalogue, but the law of faith, which he (John) only a few verses later confirms: "And this is His COMMANDMENT, that we should BELIEVE on [(have faith in)] the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment" 1 John 3:23. And so we read also in Paul: "for whatsoever is not of faith is sin". The paradox is then produced that attempting to keep the law is sin, for "the law is not of faith". So the SDAs need to be more careful with grammar and proper exegesis. They see the word "law" and jump to conclusions for they are legalists at heart who seek to justify themselves by their own efforts, just as the Jews did.
We put aside all the things we would usually do on all the 6 days. Only 1 day God says make holy. So I don’t think we should be excersicing on the sabbath. But I think if you wanna go for a walk in creation to get a little fresh air, exsercise and enjoy Gods creation, nothing wrong with that. But everything you would usually do on all the 6 days, shouldn’t do on the 7th, Gods holy day. We put everything aside to strictly rest and spend time with God. Excercising is not resting either. Adventists do not keep the Sabbath according to the full meaning of the Law. On the Sabbath all servants were required to keep the Sabbath also, but Adventist's investments are earning interest on the Sabbath an utter breach of the spirit of the Sabbath Law. Hi, friend. Just remember, you will never win any struggles with sin in your own strength. You need to ask Jesus for His strength, every day. Pray to Him when you feel tempted. Read promises from the Bible. Ask Jesus to conquer your heart, because you cannot give it to Him. God loves to answer this prayer. He rejoices to deliver you from sin. Even though old habits may be very strong, keep praying for God's strength, and He will deliver you.

Good evening, I have been baptized as a Christian, and one thing that I really need to do is to share the knowledge I have about Jesus to others who have not heard of Him or have ignored Jesus even though they have heard of Him. I know financially, it is impossible to do this to everyone I know but I am doing it on my own little ways whenever I have approached a person who has never believed that there is God nor they have not believed in Jesus. I have been finding true happiness over the past years and I am beginning to learn that true happiness cannot be found in all your material successes in life. These material or earthly successes can give you comfort and happiness temporarily, but true happiness can be found in believing in Jesus, doing His way of life and sharing the good deeds to others and be an instrument for others to believe in Him...

Billy Graham NEVER taught anyone about the “Seventh Day Sabbath” . He never reminded and taught anyone that it’s one of the 10 commandments, the 4th commandment. In fact that snake encouraged everyone to worship on Pagan, man made Sunday instead of Gods Holy 7th Day Sabbath and never taught they were breaking the 10 Commandments EVERYTIME they worshipped on Sunday. You mentioning his name is like you giving him credit or like you endorsing him in some way. His name, his false preaching and everything that snake did in his fake house of the Lord should NEVER enter Gods house on the 7th day Sabbath. Am I judging? NOPE, just speaking the truth.

We have a sizable population of Muslims here in northern Virginia. Whenever I see a woman wearing a hijab or I pass by someone that I know to be Muslim, I say a silent to God that He will lead that person to Christ. I have no idea if those prayers are effective or not, but it beats doing nothing.
As Jesus plainly stated twice in Jhn 6, _nobody_ can come come to Him unless the Father called them. Contrary to what counterfeit Christianity teaches, God hasn't spent all of human history locked in a cosmic tug of war with Satan. If the "Christian" churches observed the annual festivals like the Bible says they're supposed to, they'd know this.

I lived in a town that had many churches but not an SDA church. When I left and went to 'the city', only then did I learn of the SDA message. I have always wondered why the Seventh Day Adventist church speak so much about missions in other countries but seems to neglect those on their 'doorstep'? My life would have taken a whole different path if I had learned the Adventist truth when I was growing up. I truly think that there is some truth that the SDA church/religion is an exclusive religion from my own experience.
There are more SDA's in foreign countries than in the USA. Not because we don't try. Many people here are just not as open to the 7th day Shabbat (Sabbath). The catholic church has convinced the world that it should be on Sunday. We are like the Israelites a stiff necked people. I was 60 years old before I became an Adventist.

Confused by the ending statements, it feels like some statements is contradictory to the other.
If Jesus is the only way to salvation how come, people who "respond" to the inspiration of angels or Holy Spirit and did good things, can be saved without accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour?

Why is there little emphasis on the real truth about baptism and what Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:1 through 3:12 ? Why do many preachers and pastors teach people to believe they are saved merely by claiming to believe in Jesus as their savior, then having to be baptized in water. Isn't it true, that Jesus said "That which is flesh is flesh," flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God? Jesus also said, we must be born again, of water and the spirit in order too see and inherit the Kingdom of God. That being said, wouldn't this mean, that we are not born again merely by claiming that Jesus is our lord and savior, or by being baptized or dipped in water. Jesus said unless a man be born of water and the spirit he cannot see the Kingdom of God. What would this mean then, are we are not born again until our flesh dies and we are later raised to life in the spirit, having put on the likeness of God, being transformed from our fleshly mortal bodies, to our new spirit immortal body, thus being truly born again as when Jesus died, he being the first to die and be born again and raised to life again in the spirit. Isn't this what Jesus meant when he said; we must be born again of water and the spirit in order to see and inherit the kingdom of God?

9. “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.
10. “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and you do not understand these things? 11. Truly, truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, and yet you people do not accept our testimony.
12. If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

Yes, people are unwittingly born into 'sin' so in a sense, we are totally 'innocent'. However we have to do certain things to be saved - first is, accept the sacrifice of Christ which is not enough, if you read Romans 2:6-8. 'God will repay each person according to what they have done.' There is no mention of salvation solely by believing in Christ here. It's about 'works'. Finally, for those living in the last days, there is a 3rd requirement to be saved, which is NOT accepting the mysterious 'mark of the beast.'
14:55 yes. It is mind-boggling to comprehend, which is why Paul told us to "put on the mind of Christ." We don't make the rules: God does. His thoughts are above our thoughts. We are called to believe the inspired Word of God. We are NOT called to edit it when we don't understand it. Humans who die in their sins *will* burn forever. Jesus says so.

Jesus rode a Donkey instead of Horses & Cows, He eat Fish & Bread and Fish are not vegetarians but carnivours, He eat corn in cornfield on Sabbath Day and drink wine and eat with Publicans(drunkards?).Jesus got no house and only 1 robe compare to some with many coats & tie...Jesus never have degree and never wrote any Books..and yet many claimed that they are followers of Jesus while their lives are opposite.

The actual plan of salvation is Given by Peter. Peter was given the keys to the Kingdom of heaven. He says this in Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name to Jesus Christ and ye shall receive the promise of the Holy Ghost. for this promise is unto you and your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the Lord our God shall call. We can preach about sin, but the only way to wash it away is in water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.

Batchelor, along with the entire SDA organisation, misunderstands 1 John 3:4.
It doesn't say "sin is transgression of the law" (which would imply many possible transgressions) but "sin is THE transgression of the law", which allows for only one possible transgression. So it's not talking about the decalogue, but the law of faith, which he (John) only a few verses later confirms:
"And this is His COMMANDMENT, that we should BELIEVE on [(have faith in)] the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment" 1 John 3:23.
And so we read also in Paul: "for whatsoever is not of faith is sin".
The paradox is then produced that attempting to keep the law is sin, for "the law is not of faith".
So the SDAs need to be more careful with grammar and proper exegesis. They see the word "law" and jump to conclusions for they are legalists at heart who seek to justify themselves by their own efforts, just as the Jews did.

We put aside all the things we would usually do on all the 6 days. Only 1 day God says make holy. So I don’t think we should be excersicing on the sabbath. But I think if you wanna go for a walk in creation to get a little fresh air, exsercise and enjoy Gods creation, nothing wrong with that. But everything you would usually do on all the 6 days, shouldn’t do on the 7th, Gods holy day. We put everything aside to strictly rest and spend time with God. Excercising is not resting either. Sabbath is a day of rest your body and mind. A day to worship God. Keep from your own pleasures.
Adventists do not keep the Sabbath according to the full meaning of the Law. On the Sabbath all servants were required to keep the Sabbath also, but Adventist's investments are earning interest on the Sabbath an utter breach of the spirit of the Sabbath Law. It is impossible for them to keep the Sabbath, it is in name only.
go hiking or walking out in Gods glorious creation...you will get natural exercise whilst worshipping Him!!! now going to the gym would not bring you into worship with your Father, right? so exercise in itself yes you can on Sabbath if its to Gods glory n not just your own if that makes sense? theres no exact "rules" except Gods so read what He says about Sabbath rest, i can only tell you how i feel about it but it will prob be different with everyone you ask
