I'm pretty sure that it was the voice actor trying hard not to laugh his ass off at what just happened. 5. Jax returning from the dead and attacking Jarik when he was THREE feet away from him. Apparently, he, too, was a disciple of Master Slenderman. 6. The explanation for his revival: "You think I can killed by simply falling off a cliff?" Pretty valid considering that Jarik JUST survived running off what I'm going to call "Slender Cliff." 7. "This is a Fatality!" That single cheesy one-liner is just the cherry on top of this narm sundae.
islamroks11 It may interest you to know that Jarek's laugh doesn't come from MK4. It's actually a secret unused file from MK2. I assume it's a blooper, because there's a bit more at the end of the laugh where the actor gets goofy and quickly says something resembling "belchers!" under his breath. So the real question is why didn't they have their own original evil dude laugh for MK4? My theory: they knew how funny the ending was.

A lot of the voice actors were the motion caption actors from the previous games since they were already cast in the roles. No clue who voiced Jarek because he wasn't in those games, but Sonya is Kerri Hoskins and Jax is John Parrish from MK3.

Dude, this is literally the best example I can think of for, “so bad it’s good.” I’m dying laughing every time. It’s a combination of so many factors that make this great. The fucking cartoon screams. The best part is that "I'm so gay" is literally what he's saying. This game has a tone of lines where they make gibberish sound like some ancient battle cry.
