lol i remember back in the day as a kid, i used to watch that part everytime thinking i was missing something. some time later i realized, it was a cheap narrative technique
He didn't climb back up. He fell in large water body like sea or ocean and survived in a jungle and basically became the Predator in Edenia practicing fatality on people entering the jungle.
Maybe he cannonballed his way to the top.

I mean, why not just play the PC version?
Mk4 works sort of on mame when I first tried it it was crashing on me a whole bunch of times so I gave up on it first but then I gave it another shot changed a few things and now it's working pretty well
@@tFighterPilot All home versions of MK4 have been downgraded in one way or another, with the PC and PSX versions having their downgrades bandaided by FMV endings

Ah, that brief bit of time between 1997 and 2000 when we had 3D graphics but they weren't good at all, and voice acting in video games but it also wasn't very good at all, and cinematography but it... well
I mean, this is amazing. And it wouldn't be so amazing if any of those details were actually done with competence.
